Best NBA Prop Bets for Monday, December 23

Isaiah Hartenstein over 23.5 Points+Rebounds (-128) at FanDuel

iHart went over this line in four straight games and in 10 of his 13 appearances in the season overall. He also averaged 12.5 points and 12.8 rebounds and cemented his role as a crucial member of the rotation, playing at least 30 minutes in five straight games.

The Washington Wizards are a team that is waiting to make mistakes. They gave up the most rebounds and points per game and are going to struggle to remain competitive in this game, especially since it will be played in OKC.

Mikal Bridges over 17.5 Points (-106) at FanDuel

Bridges went over this line in eight of his last nine games and averaged exactly 17.5 points per game for the season overall. In classic Tom Thibodeau fashion, he played 45 minutes in the New York Knicks’ last game and averaged 38.6 minutes per game for the season.

Bridges hasn’t been great from three (35.1 percent), but he shot a solid 49.2 percent from the field overall. The Toronto Raptors also rank 24th in points allowed per game (116.6) and let Bridges score 23 points on 9-14 shooting when they played on Dec. 9.

Wendell Carter Jr. Under 8.5 Points (-102) at FanDuel

Carter Jr. averaged a career-low 7.2 points per game on another career-low 47.1 percent shooting up to this point. He also scored five points in just 13 minutes in his last game and went under this line in seven of his last eight games for the Orlando Magic.

Orlando is dealing with a plethora of injuries, yet again, Carter Jr. only played 13 minutes in his last outing. He also has to go against the Boston Celtics, who allow the seventh-fewest points per game and whose spacing could create matchup issues for the big man.

Zaccharie Risacher Under 13.5 Points+Rebounds (-108) at FanDuel

The first-overall pick in the draft has not exactly lit the world on fire in his rookie campaign as he averaged 10.8 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 1.1 assists in 23.6 minutes per game. He also cashed the under in four straight games and played an average of just 19.5 minutes over his last four games.

The Atlanta Hawks are going against the Minnesota Timberwolves, who rank fourth in points and 12th in rebounds allowed per game. Risacher appears to be losing his spot in the rotation, shot the ball poorly recently (36 percent from the field in December), and has a terrible matchup.

James Harden Under 7.5 Assists (-113) at FanDuel

Harden is having a bit of a renaissance as a scorer this month as he had games of 41, 39, 24, and 23 points. However he averaged 6.1 assists since the start of December and cashed the under on this line in six straight games, in part because of the LA Clippers’ lack of scoring options.

Harden and the Clippers are about to take on a Memphis Grizzlies team that is winning games and that allows the fifth-fewest assists per game. It should be difficult for the Clippers’ starters to find much success against the Memphis defense, which should in turn lead to Harden going under his total.
