The NBA is here to help close out the week on a strong note, and we’ve got the best player prop picks from around the league.
While many will turn their attention to the College Football Playoff, we’ve still got our eyes on a few star players on the hardwood. Giannis Antetokounmpo has a tough matchup with the league-leading Cleveland Cavaliers and after his In-Season Tournament triumph, while the Oklahoma City Thunder will face the Miami Heat in the late game.
Here are our best NBA player prop picks for Friday.

Wright should be in line for some playing time due to Damian Lillard’s calf-induced absence on Friday night. Even still, he played three games without Lillard this season and went under this line twice, averaging 3.0 points and 5.3 assists in those games.
Giannis Antetokunmpo has been outstanding recently and should spend a lot of time with the ball in his hands. The emergence of Andre Jackson Jr. could also eat into Wright’s possible minutes, while the Cavs are ninth in assists and 11th in points allowed per game.

Highsmith averaged 3.0 rebounds and cashed the over in six of his last eight games. He’s also facing an OKC Thunder team that is coming off of a terrible shooting night and could experience an emotional hangover after they lost the NBA Cup Final to the Bucks on Tuesday.
The Thunder allowed the second-fewest rebounds per game and are a very small team, which means that opposing guards and wings often get more rebounds than they’re accustomed to. Highsmith averaged 26 minutes per game this month and should have plenty of chances to hit the over.

Wade went under this line in 13 of his last 14 games and averaged 5.2 points and 4.8 rebounds per game. He also played 22 minutes per game and could be in line for more following Isaac Okoro’s injury, although he likely won’t become a high-30s type of player.
Wade is having the worst shooting year of his career, having gone 34.4 percent from the field and 30.5 percent from deep. The Bucks are 11th in three-point percentage allowed and rose to seventh in defensive rating over their last 15 games, and they gave up just 81 points in the In-Season Tournament final.

George was terrific in his last game on Monday when he had 3 points, eight assists, and five rebounds in a win over the Charlotte Hornets. He gets to take on Charlotte again on Friday, but whereas he’s been rested since Monday, his opponent is on the second night of a back-to-back.
The added rest combined with the zapped legs of the Hornets players gives George and the Philadelphia 76ers an advantage in “hustle” categories, of which one is rebounding. They’re also no Joel Embiid or Claeb Martin to contend with on the glass, which should give George a lane to the over.

Williams found himself under this line in three straight games and had a tough time shooting the ball recently. He’s also just 23 years old and, like many of the youthful players with the Thunder, is at risk of coming into Friday’s matchup looking slow and lethargic after their defeat on Tuesday.
The Heat are bad on the glass but allow the sixth-fewest points per game and have several wings that can do a solid job defending against Williams. He also hasn’t shot the ball well enough recently to warrant enough faith in him getting over this line.
