Russell averaged 12.9 points and 5.1 assists for the season, spending most of his time coming off of the bench. He should be in a position to move into the starting lineup now that LeBron James is expected to miss the contest, but that doesn’t guarantee that he will be more productive than he usually is.
Russell was awesome in his last game, going for 28 points and 14 assists. However, he went under this line in every other game of the season and is shooting the worst he has since he returned to LA. The Lakers are also facing the Minnesota Timberwolves, who rank third in assists and fourth in points allowed per game.

Embiid went under this line in all five appearances and only shot 13 percent from three this season. That can largely be attributed to his nagging injuries and his lack of time spent on the court, which have caused him to struggle to find his rhythm.
Embiid does not look anything like his usual self and averaged just 22 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 3.6 assists. The Pacers also allow 0.7 made threes per game to opposing centers (12th) and have a big man in Myles Turner who is comfortable defending on the perimeter.

The Nikola Vucevic renaissance has been a sight to behold. The 34-year-old big man averaged 21 points and 9.8 rebounds on 58.7 percent shooting, though he went under this line in four straight games.
While the Chicago Bulls lead the league in pace and love to fly up and down the court, the Charlotte Hornets are only 27th in average pace, which will reduce the amount of available rebounds. Charlotte is also strong on the boards and allows the eighth-fewest rebounds per game.

Murray averaged 6.2 assists and 4.0 rebounds per game and went under this line in three straight outings. He also trended under this line far more than he did over despite his average being right around the median point.
Murray and the Denver Nuggets are facing the Los Angeles Clippers, who rank third in rebounds and seventh in assists allowed per game. He went under both times he faced the Clippers, including on Dec. 1, and is in a position to add another under to his total.

Johnson was recently promoted to a larger role in the Brooklyn Nets’ offense due to injuries suffered by several of his teammates. He responded by going under this line in three straight games and saw his minutes reduced in back-to-back games, only getting 21 his last time on the court.
Johnson averaged 5.7 points on poor 35/30/73 shooting splits for the year overall. He’s also facing a Memphis Grizzlies team that is seventh in defensive rating and does not concede easy looks to opponents, which will make it difficult for a low-efficiency player to find his way to the over.
