Davis is having an incredible, NBA MVP-level campaign, and he recorded 14 rebounds in three of his last four games. That’s while averaging 30.7 points per night and having the Los Angeles Lakers in third place and just one game out of first place in the Western Conference.
While there’s plenty of praise to throw around for Davis, the Orlando Magic are eighth in rebound rate and surrender the seventh-fewest rebounds per game to their opponents. Davis also went over recently against teams that were injured or terrible on the glass, and Orlando is an entirely different prospect.

“The Finnisher” dropped 25 points against, guess who, the Lakers his last time on the court. However, a bunch of those points came in garbage time, and he went under in eight of nine games just before that.
Markkanen’s scoring decline is not down to any fault of his own, as he shot 44.8 percent from the field, 44.6 percent from three, and 84.5 percent from the line. He just isn’t getting as many shots as he’s used to due to all of the willing shooters in Utah’s offense, and a decline in efficiency would give him very little chance of hitting the over.

Miller went over in his last game but went under in three straight just before that. He’s only shooting 38.6 percent from the field and 33 percent from three, which led to him averaging 16.7 points and 4.1 rebounds for the season overall.
The Detroit Pistons, the Charlotte Hornets’ Thursday opponent, are fourth in rebound rate and ninth in defensive rating, meaning that it will be hard for Miller to be productive in either market. He had his best scoring game of the season the last time he faced Detroit, but he was highly inefficient and will likely go under if he shoots the ball the same way he did in that game.

Gobert isn’t known as much of a scorer and only went over this line one time in his last in his six games (though he did score 11 in back-to-back outings. So we understand why you’re probably asking yourself why you should bet his over tonight?
The Toronto Raptors give up the fourth-most points per game and rank 25th in offensive rebounds allowed. They’re also just 22nd in two-point percentage allowed, and all of that adds up to chances to clean up the glass, uncontested close-range shots, and plenty of opportunities to get over a fairly low line.

“Westside Knecht” wrote his name in the NBA history books on Tuesday as he tied a rookie record with nine made threes and dropped 37 points in a win over the Utah Jazz. He also scored 27 points the game before that, but let’s slow the roll.
Knecht looks great. But he is still a rookie, and inconsistency should be expected. The Magic allow the second-fewest points and seventh-fewest rebounds per game, so if there’s a time to temper expectations, it’s Thursday.
