Booker has had a fairly slow start to the year by his standards, scoring 23.3 points per game on 43.4 percent shooting from the field and 34 percent from three. He’s almost at a career-high with 6.8 assists per game, but he hasn’t been able to consistently get his shot to fall.
The Phoenix Suns are taking on the Oklahoma City Thunder, who have the best defensive rating in the league and give up the fewest points per game (100.2 - 6.5 fewer than the second-place team). OKC is also down Chet Holmgren, which means they’ll just have another versatile guard or wing to throw at Booker whenever he’s on the court.

The team that’s second in defensive rating and third in points allowed per game? The Orlando Magic. That’s who Paul George and the Philadelphia 76ers are facing in their In-Season Tournament matchup on Friday night coming off of back-to-back losses to the Cleveland Cavaliers and the New York Knicks.
George, in his first five games in Philly, averaged 17.2 points and went under this line four times. He dropped 29 points on 7-11 shooting from three in his last game, but he’s shooting just 42.5 percent from the field and 30.6 percent from three overall. He also has to contend for shots with Joel Embiid while trying to get past Orlando’s stifling defense.

It’s hard to rationalize, but Aldama leads the Grizzlies with 30.1 minutes played per night. Although he went over this line in consecutive games, he only went 2-7 from deep his last time on the court and shot a horrendous 15.6 percent from three on 5.3 attempts per game during November.
The 23-year-old big man is not at 26.7 percent from three for the year as a whole and went under this line in eight of 12 outings thus far. He and the Memphis Grizzlies are also facing the Golden State Warriors, who lead the league in three-point defense and hold teams to 31.9 percent shooting from deep.

We picked Harden to go under his scoring line several times recently to great success. He has not gone under this total in five of seven games this month, only averaged 18.4 points per game during that time, and is shooting 36.2 percent from the field and 31.3 percent from three for the year as a whole.
Harden just isn’t that explosive anymore, and he’s the second scoring option in the offense behind Norman Powell. He and the LA Clippers will take on the Houston Rockets, who just held him to 19 points in his last outing and who give up the eighth-fewest points per game (108.9).

Siakam isn’t known as an outright three-point shooter, but he’s growing in confidence at shooting from range as a member of the Indiana Pacers. He attempted 4.8 threes per game, the second-most of his career and the most since the 2019-20 season.
Siakam is shooting 47.2 percent from deep and went over in three straight games, as well as seven of 11 overall. He and the Indiana Pacers are also facing the Miami Heat, who rank 20th and allowed teams to shoot 36.5 percent from beyond the arc.
