Let’s address the elephant in the room—George averaged 3.1 rebounds and is not exactly a known rebounder. However, he grabbed five boards in his last game, a competitive 120-112 loss to the Phoenix Suns, and is going to have to contribute on the glass with Walker Kessler out of the picture.

The Mavericks are only 26th in rebound rate, which means that there will be opportunities for the Jazz players on the glass. 40.3 percent of Dallas’ shot attempts are also from three, which ensures that there will be attempts at long rebounds, which typically favor guards.

Kyrie Irving Over 24.5 Points (-115) at FanDuel

Uncle Drew averaged 25.2 points per game and 25.7 in the month of November. He only dropped 21 points his last time out but went over in three of four games just before that and is still shooting the ball with incredible efficiency, averaging splits of 54.5 percent from the field, 54.1 percent from three, and 85.7 percent from the charity stripe.

The Jazz have a couple of fiery guards in the form of George and Collin Sexton, who will challenge Irving’s inner competitor. Utah gives up the fifth-most points per game (120) and doesn’t defend the three well, so there’s a path for Irving here.

Luka Doncic Over 8.5 Assists (+102) at FanDuel

Do you know what happens when teams give up a bunch of points? They give up a bunch of assists. Utah, fittingly, also allows the fifth-most assists per game, and Doncic is one of the best distributors in all of basketball.

The 25-year-old didn’t go over this line a single time in the first month of the season, but he hit the over in three of his last five games and averaged 9.5 assists per game in November. He also went over in three of four meetings and averaged 11.5 assists per game against the Jazz during the 2023-24 campaign.

Klay Thompson Over 3.5 Threes (+122) at FanDuel

One of the greatest shooters in the history of basketball, Thompson found his rhythm in Tuesday’s battle with the Golden State Warriors and went 6-12 from three-point land. He’d been on a bit of a cold stretch beforehand and only went over five times in 11 games.
