The first night of the second NBA Cup did not disappoint.
Whether it was Steph Curry spoiling Klay Thompson’s return to the bay, Erik Spoelstra losing his team a game by calling a timeout he didn’t have in front of Jalen Rose, or the Atlanta Hawks shocking the Boston Celtics, the NBA’s newest brainchild is off to another flying start.
While the In-Season Tournament will return on Friday, there are a variety of important and intriguing matchups across the league on Wednesday.
Here are our best NBA player prop betting picks for Hump Day hoops.

Harden averaged 20.8 points per game and 18.3 in November. He went under this line in five of his last six games and has not been an efficient shooter at all, posting averages of 35.9 percent from the field and 30.7 percent from three-point land.
The Los Angeles Clippers are taking on the Houston Rockets, who maintain the third-best defensive rating in basketball and allowed just 106.5 points per game to their opponents. Norman Powell is clearly the primary scoring option in the offense, and Harden just isn’t an efficient scorer at this stage in his career.

Edwards is committed to getting off a ton of threes—more than any player in the league not named LaMelo Ball, at that. It’s still early, but he looks like a deadly long0-range shooter, having made 5.3 threes per game and shot an extremely proficient 45.3 percent from distance.
It’s hard to comprehend Edwards becoming a three-point specialist, but he went over this line in every game except for one this season. He’s on the second night of a back-to-back but is facing a Portland Trail Blazers squad that ranks 27th in opponents’ three-point percentage (37.3).

Suggs was forced to take on more responsibility in the Orlando offense once Paolo Banchero was lost to an injury. However, he was fairly disappointing in his last three games, all of which were wins, averaging 9.7 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 3.0 assists and going under his assist line every time.
Franz Wagner leads the Magic in assists per game and dished out at least five in six of his last seven games, whereas Suggs has gone in the opposite direction. The Indiana Pacers, Orlando’s opponent, also allow the third-fewest assists per game, while Orlando has the fifth-worst offensive rating in the league.

Turner scored 26 points in his last game against the New York Knicks, though they have a terrible defense, and he averaged 17.4 points per game for the year overall. He also went under this line in three of five November games and in six of nine games for the season as a whole.
The Magic allowed the fewest points per game and rank second in defensive rating, trailing only the Oklahoma City Thunder. Turner also went under this line in two of three games against the Magic last year and twice failed to score more than 12 points during their matchups, which leads us to believe that this is a solid NBA player prop pick for Wednesday.

The New Orleans Pelicans are missing six of their top rotational players, including mainstays such as Zion Williamson, CJ McCollum, and Dejounte Murray, among others. That would lead one to believe that Ingram would be in line for a statistical jump in performance, though that would be incorrect.
The 27-year-old went over this line in six of 11 games, but only in one of his last three. He’s also taking on the Oklahoma City Thunder, who have the best defensive rating and allow the second-fewest points per game. OKC is also missing Chet Holmgren, which just means they’ll have another switchable defender to throw at Ingram, who was inefficient shooting the ball in his recent outings.
