The New York Knicks refound their footing in their series with the Indiana Pacers and took a 3-2 lead on the back of a 30-point Game Five victory. Jalen Brunson starred with 44 points and seven assists, while Josh Hart and Alec Burks scored 18 apiece.
Later in the evening, the Denver Nuggets won their third straight game to take a 3-2 lead over the Minnesota Timberwolves. Nikola Jokic dominated with 40 points, 13 assists, and no turnovers, while Anthony Edwards was held to 18 points on 5-15 shooting.

Luka and the Dallas Mavericks are heading on the road to face the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 5 with their series tied 2-2. He missed a late free-throw that helped lead to his team’s loss in Game Four and is averaging just 22 points in the series as he continues to deal with a knee injury after he averaged 33.9 during the regular season.
While Luka’s shooting stroke hasn’t been there, he’s been able to flourish as a playmaker. He dished out 10 assists his last time on the court and went over in seven of his last nine games. Lu Dort has done a great job crowding Doncic’s air space, and without his usual athleticism, he should turn down more shot opportunities and look to set up his teammates.

The 7-foot-1 rookie has an important task in this series: remedy the rebounding issues that plagued an otherwise-sensational team all year. To his credit, Holmgren has done a solid job at that and is coming off of a nine-rebound game in the 100-96 win against the Mavs in Game Four.
While that was Holmgren’s only over hit of the series, he split the over/under at 2-2 during the first round. He also just played a playoff-high 40 minutes and averaged 8.8 rebounds across eight regular and postseason matchups with Dallas.

Garland, a former fifth-overall pick in the 2019 draft, has not had a great playoffs. He scored 30 points for the first time in Game Four and without Donovan Mitchell in the lineup, but he averaged just 16.1 points and 5.5 assists on 44.8 percent field goal shooting in the postseason overall.
This pick could come into question if Mitchell doesn’t play, seeing as Garland took a playoff-high 13 three-point attempts in his and the Cleveland Cavaliers’ Game Four loss to the Boston Celtics. However, he shot just 30.8 percent from deep and averaged 2.3 makes per game in the postseason, so there’s still a strong chance he finishes under his total.

Horford, 37, is still going strong and in pursuit of his elusive first championship trophy. He played decently well since being inserted into the starting lineup in place of the injured Kristaps Porzingis but has been very poor from beyond the arc, shooting just 18.2 percent from outside in this series with three under hits in four games.
Horford shot a tremendous 41.9 percent from three during the regular season but is all the way down to 27 percent in the playoffs. His four three-point attempts in Game Four were also his fewest in the series, which could suggest either a loss in confidence or a game plan to attack different areas of the Cavs' defense.

Holiday had an extremely slow start to the playoffs but bounced back with three over hits in four games against Cleveland, including 16 on 54.5 percent shooting in his most recent outing. That performance aside, there’s reason to believe he’ll find his way back under his line on Wednesday.
Derrick White looked like the best player on the Celtics for a week or so, but his extreme regression over the last two games allowed Holiday to flourish with the ball in his hands. We expect White to settle down and land closer to his season average, which should leave fewer scoring opportunities for Holiday, who’s still averaging just 13 points in the series.
