Irving only managed one rebound in the Dallas Mavericks’ Game One blowout loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday, but we haven’t given up hope on him in this market. The 32-year-old grabbed 6+ boards in four of six games in the first round and averaged 5.0 rebounds per game in the regular season and can do much better than he did in Game One.
The Thunder are a small team that posted the third-worst rebound rate during the regular season. They rely on their guards’ activity to survive on the glass and also take a lot of three, which leads to long rebounds. With a bit more focus, Irving should be able to clear this total as Dallas looks to level the series.

Tatum has not played like the Boston Celtics’ best player in these playoffs. Or even their second-best. Through six games, he averaged 21.2 points with 1.5 threes per game on 25 percent shooting from beyond the arc, but Jaylen Brown and Derrick White have been able to carry the load anyway.
Boston’s main man dropped a goose egg from the perimeter in Game One against the Cleveland Cavaliers, going 0-5 en route to 18 points. He went under this total in every game of the playoffs and is still looking to break out of a remarkable shooting slump, given how easily Boston is winning its games.

Once a Sixth Man of the Year candidate, Hardaway Jr. only played two games against the Los Angeles Clippers before he sustained an injury. He returned to the floor in Game One and only managed two points on 1-5 shooting in 17 minutes, nearly 10 fewer than his regular-season average.
Hardaway Jr. scored six, zero, and two points in his three postseason appearances thus far. The even more worrying part is that he only saw the court for 16 and 17 minutes in games in which he was fully healthy, which shows he might not have the full trust of coach Jason Kidd and is on a short leash.

Wiggins is part of an outstanding OKC bench unit that ranks second in the playoffs in net rating. He grabbed five boards in 23 minutes in his last appearance and beat his total three times in the first round against the New Orleans Pelicans despite only playing 15 minutes on average.
Wiggins’ 23 minutes on the court are a sign that he is trusted by coach Mark Daigneault despite only being in his third year in the league. He, Cason Wallace, and Isaiah Joe could all see more time on the court moving forward as well since OKC found much more success when it was able to play Daniel Gafford and Dereck Lively II off the court.

If Mitchell isn’t creating the offense for the Cavs, then who is? The 27-year-old dropped his assist average from 6.1 during the regular season to 4.5 in the postseason but went over in back-to-back games as the offense has essentially taken the philosophy of “give him the ball and get out of the way.”
The Cavs have been atrocious shooting the ball from three-point land, ranking second from the bottom in the playoffs at 28.3 percent. They should eventually make more of their shots with a bit of luck and a natural regression to the mean, which would translate to more assists for Mitchell.
