The Indiana Pacers beat the Milwaukee Bucks by 22 points to book their ticket in the second round thanks to a dominant performance by the bench. Obi Toppin’s 21 and T.J. McConnell’s 20 points led the team, and no members of the starting five scored more than 19 points.
The New York Knicks joined the Pacers in the second round later in the evening after they took down the Philadelphia 76ers thanks to a clutch game-winning three-pointer by Josh Hart. Jalen Brunson racked up 41 points and 12 assists and became only the fifth player in NBA playoff history to average a 40-point double-double over four games.

Mitchell scored 28 points in the Cleveland Cavaliers’ 104-103 win over the Orlando Magic in Game Five. While he now averaged 27 points per game in his home building in the postseason, he only averaged 15.5 on the road in Orlando, which is exactly where he will be for Game Six on Friday.
The Magic allowed the fewest points per 100 possessions after the All-Star break and rank second in defensive efficiency in the playoffs. They are aggressive on the perimeter and have a potential All-Defensive team member in Jalen Suggs on Mitchell, which has proven to be a tough formula for him to crack.

This pick is assuming that Jarrett Allen, who is questionable, cannot suit up on Friday due to a rib injury. Mobley only averaged 8.4 rebounds per game in the series but has games of 11 and 13 rebounds, the latter of which game in Game Five without Allen in his usual starting center spot.
The Magic are one of the worst jump-shooting teams in basketball from long distance, and without Allen in the middle, Mobley will need to give a great effort on the glass. He played a series-high 39 minutes in Game Five and should be in line for a similar workload if Allen can’t go.

The James Harden postseason demons came out in full force in Game Five as the former MVP dropped a whopping seven points on 2-12 shooting in a 30-point loss. He went over his line in all four games before that, but his history of disappearing in the playoffs makes him a prime candidate to go under in his second straight game.
The Los Angeles Clippers are on the road in an elimination game against the Dallas Mavericks on Friday. Harden and company are 7.5-point underdogs and are facing enormous pressure to extend the series to Seven Games, which ultimately does not bode well for his prospects as an individual.

Washington quickly became a fan-favorite in Dallas for his joy, spirit, and crossed-arms pose after coming to the defense of Luka Doncic. He drilled at least two threes in the first two games of the series before making one total in the last three games, but there’s reason to believe he can bounce back on Friday.
Washington took, made, and converted a higher percentage of threes in his home arena than he did on the road after he was traded to the Mavericks. Luka Doncic also went for 35 points last game and could draw even more focus from the LA defense, which would leave role players like Washington open in the corners.

Irving isn’t one of these modern guards who will fly around grabbing double-digit rebounds, but he has made a better effort on the glass ever since the playoffs started. The 32-year-old went from 5.0 rebounds in the regular season to 5.6 in the playoffs and hit the over three times in the series.
The LA Clippers are one of the most isolation-heavy teams in the league and take lots of threes, which leads to lots of longer rebounds. Irving is playing nearly 40 minutes per night and should have plenty of chances to swoop in for loose balls and push the pace in transition as he loves to do.
