Brown lit up the Golden State Warriors’ defense to the tune of 29 points in 22 minutes the last time he played. Now, he gets to go against a Cleveland Cavaliers team that he not only has familiarity with, but that has an offensive rating of around 111 when Donovan Mitchell does not play—roughly the same as the Detroit Pistons.
While the Cavs have a stellar defense, their offensive struggles should help give momentum to Brown and the C’s and allow them to eventually overwhelm their opponent. The Celtics also have the best offensive rating in basketball and have demolished a variety of teams, plus their starters are fresh since they all played less than 30 minutes against Golden State.

Hart has played close to 40 minutes per night over the last month and change and should be in for another enormous workload, especially if Jalen Brunson can’t go because of a knee contusion. He’s an indispensable part of the roster and made 2+ threes in five of his last six games, including both of his last two.
The New York Knicks are taking on the Atlanta Hawks, who have the second-worst defensive rating in basketball for the year and allow opponents to make 38.8% of their long-range attempts, the third-highest mark in the entire league.

Sengun is a quality young player with All-NBA potential, but he’s about to play the biggest unicorn in modern basketball: Victor Wembanyama. Wemby has been outstanding at navigating the pick-and-roll since the All-Star break and has averaged 5.4 blocks over his last eight games, and he also just naturally dissuades his opponents from shooting as much as they normally would whenever he’s nearby.
Sengun and the Houston Rockets tend to play much better in their home arena, but he cashed the under on this line in 10 of his last 11 games and will have fewer opportunities than most since the Rockets play at a fairly slow pace. That, combined with his impending matchup against Wemby, means that this is the time to bet against him.

Hali and the Indiana Pacers are squaring off against the Dallas Mavericks, who have been a total mess on defense after promising signs around the trade deadline. Over the last five games, the Mavericks surrendered 125.6 points per 100 possessions and 33.2 assists per game, both the worst marks in the NBA.
Haliburton is still struggling from the field and went under this line in back-to-back games, but he also cashed the over in seven of nine games just before that and has the opportunity to pounce on a struggling defense. As long as Indy’s defense holds up, this should turn into a shootout between Haliubrton and Dallas’ stars and lead to him going over his total.

Beal hasn’t exactly been a model of consistency for the Phoenix Suns, mostly because of his injuries, but he averaged 4.5 assists for the year and went over the total in eight of his last 11. That includes six against the Oklahoma City Thunder’s terrific defense on Sunday and a season-high of 10 just about a month ago.
Beal’s path to an over will be helped by the absence of Devin Booker, who is nursing an ankle injury. Beal handed out five or more assists in his last three games without Booker and will spend more time with the ball in his hands, affording him a greater opportunity to rack up the assists.
