The New York Knicks barely squeaked by the Detroit Pistons via a botched call by the referees that led to a Josh Hart game-winner, while the Miami Heat beat the Sacramento Kings without Jimmy Butler, Tyler Herro, and Terry Rozier in the lineup.

Tatum and the league-leading Boston Celtics are set to take on the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday. But with Joel Embiid stuck on the sideline, this rivalry matchup doesn’t have the same feel to it and should end in an easy win for the C’s, barring any unexpected developments.
Tatum beat this line in seven of his last 11 games, and although he went under in two of three against Philly this year, he should have an easier path to the over without the reigning MVP on the court. He also made a few appeals to his own MVP case recently and could seize this opportunity to boost his scoring total against a hampered opponent.

Do you think that Wemby is going to be scared going against the tallest frontcourt in the NBA? Because we don’t. The 20-year-old already played Minnesota three times and grabbed 10 boards twice and nine once (in the ninth game of his NBA career), which is enough reason alone to back him.
There’s also the element of Wemby looking to outduel his friend and mentor from the French national team, Rudy Gobert, who just so happens to be the anchor of Minnesota’s defense. Wemby produced double-digit boards in three straight games and 11 of his last 15 overall, and we think that he’ll add to that total tonight.

Sengun, another young center with tons of promise, is getting a tough matchup against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday. He managed 19 points when the two teams played on Sunday, leading to a 13-point loss, and now clocked fewer than 20 points in seven of his last 10 games (including five of his last six).
The Houston Rockets are known for their defense, but the Thunder are just as good, if not better on defense themselves. They allow the fourth-fewest points in the paint per game and have a shot-blocker in Chet Holmgren that will present problems for Sengun, which is why we’re fading him on this occasion.

The Charlotte Hornets actually look like a decent basketball team right now, and part of the credit for that goes to Tre Mann, an acquisition near the trade deadline. In just six games with his new squad, Mann averaged 11.7 points, 5.5 rebounds, 5.2 assists, and made 1.8 threes per game while shooting 45.8% from deep.
Although Mann isn’t a high-volume shooter, he made two or more threes in three of his last four games. He’s also facing a Milwaukee Bucks defense that doesn’t have a true point-of-attack defender and will have to try to match the scoring output of Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard, which could lead to an increase in shot attempts.

Ayton has been the subject of criticism because of his seemingly low motor at different times. However, he put up 22 and 26 points with 29 total rebounds in his last two games and averaged a double-double for the year (14.4 points and 10.6 rebounds).
The former first-overall pick will take on Bam Adebayo and the Miami Heat with an extra day of rest since Miami is on the second night of a back-to-back. Although Bam is an outstanding defender, Ayton averaged 17.8 points and 12.3 rebounds and posted a double-double in every career matchup with the Heat big man. Watch for him to continue the trend when they square off in the northwest.
