Best NBA Player Props: Brooklyn Nets vs. Philadelphia 76ers (6:00 PM EST)

Tyrese Maxey Points Over 31.5 (+105) at DraftKings Sportsbook

Tyrese Maxey has had a brilliant season, and he's been rewarded with the first All-Star berth of his career. With Joel Embiid’s status for the remainder of the season unknown, Maxey has taken on the role of the first option with the Sixers. He takes on a Nets team that sees an opportunity for victory when they face off on Saturday night.

In 43 games this season, Maxey has averaged 26.3 points, 6.4 assists, and 3.6 rebounds per game on 45.4% from the field and 38.3% from three-point range. He’s coming off a performance where he posted 51 points and seven threes on 63.0% from the field and 77.8% from three-point range.

Maxey has shown his quality, especially with Embiid out of the lineup, scoring over 31.5 points in nine games this season. Against a middling Nets team, while in his current run of form, expect Maxey to maintain his stellar play.

Best NBA Player Props: Sacramento Kings vs. Chicago Bulls (8:00 PM EST)

Domantas Sabonis Points Under 19.5 (+100) at DraftKings Sportsbook

Domantas Sabonis was one of the most egregious All-Star snubs in NBA history this season, considering the success of his Sacramento Kings and production. He’ll channel his team’s collective disappointment when he leads against the Chicago Bulls on Saturday night. One of the most versatile contributors in the NBA, expect a varied performance from Sabonis.

This season, Sabonis is averaging 20.0 points, 13.0 rebounds, and 8.0 assists on 61.7% from the field and 44.2% from three-point range. He’s coming off a win over the Indiana Pacers, where he posted 26 points, 11 rebounds, and seven assists on 64.3% shooting from the field.

Sabonis is so versatile that scoring isn’t his primary focus on the court, hitting under 19.5 points in 23 of his 47 games this season. Despite his big night against Indiana, he’ll face a more traditionally lined-up Chicago Bulls, who are top of the league in two-point field goals allowed. Expect a more subdued scoring night from Sabonis.

Bet with DraftKings Sportsbook; even if your bet loses, you'll get $200 in bonus bets.

Best NBA Player Props: Cleveland Cavaliers vs. San Antonio Spurs (8:30 PM EST)

Tre Jones Points Under 11.5 (+100) at DraftKings Sportsbook

Tre Jones is a steady, if unspectacular, point guard who leads the San Antonio Spurs through its current rebuilding period. Despite the Spurs suffering a three-game losing streak, Jones was a bright spot for the team in their recent narrow loss to the Pelicans. Against a tough Cavaliers defense, Jones will try to replicate his excellent form.

This season, Jones is averaging 9.7 points, 5.8 assists, and 3.2 rebounds on 50.3% from the field and 29.3% from three-point range. In his last game, a loss to the Pelicans, Jones posted 20 points, seven assists, and seven rebounds on 53.3% shooting from the field.

Not a prolific scorer, Jones has hit under 11.5 points in 14 of his 44 appearances this season. He faces a different beast in the Cavaliers, a defensively-oriented unit that limits teams at the rim. Expect Jones, a below-average shooter, to struggle.

What is an NBA Player Prop?

In NBA betting, a Player Prop directs attention to the individual performance of players rather than the overall game result. This entails placing bets on specific player actions, such as points scored or rebounds, with bookmakers establishing benchmarks.

For example, consider a bet during the Bucks versus Mavericks game. When Luka Doncic takes the court, a prop bet will speculate on whether they’ll hit over or under 31.5 points during the game. These types of wagers add a new level of excitement to the game, allowing bettors to focus on particular players’ performance within the broader context of the game.
