Nikola Jokic dropped a 30-point triple-double as the Denver Nuggets continued to hold the Indiana Pacers without a win since they added Pascal Siakam to the lineup, while the Oklahoma City Thunder came back to win in controversial fashion against the Portland Trail Blazers.

Edwards was red-hot scoring the ball…until he wasn’t. The former first-overall pick failed to register more than 11 field goals in the last two games and barely shot the ball for most of his last outing, during which Karl-Anthony Towns scored 62 points and hogged the ball on the majority of the team’s offensive possessions.
Edwards scored 30+ points in four of his first six games of the month excluding two blowouts where he didn’t come close to his season average in minutes. The Minnesota Timberwolves are taking on the Washington Wizards, who play extremely fast and are atrocious on defense (first in pace, 28th in def. rating).

Look, we’re not calling this a lock or anything like that—but for these odds, this is worth a consideration. LaMelo came dangerously close to a triple-double the only other time he faced the Detroit Pistons this season, registering 20 points, nine rebounds, and nine assists, and he put up a double-double in two of his last four outings.
While bettors can also grab him to record a double-double for -110 odds, he’s got a great shot to get the points and assists done simply because of how bad Detroit’s defense is. It’s likely this bet hinges on his ability to get enough rebounds, but the Pistons are 16th in field goal percentage and 18th in rebound rate and should give him a fair chance.

Wemby beat this total with his points alone in his last outing, going for 33 points and seven boards against the Philadelphia 76ers (although he did let Joel Embiid score 70, so, trade-offs). He beat this total in five of his last eight games and was very close to going over in several unders, having recorded 32+ points+rebounds in five straight games.
The San Antonio Spurs’ star should have extra motivation to perform since he’s taking on fellow Rookie of the Year contender, Chet Holmgren, who’s on the second night of a back-to-back. He grabbed 14 points but only scored eight points in his other matchup with the Oklahoma City Thunder but is already much more of a polished scorer than he was a couple of months ago.

Whatever Devin Booker said to Luka Doncic during the playoff a few years ago has stuck with him. The Dallas Mavericks’ MVP candidate dropped 33+ points in our straight meetings (excluding a game he exited after three minutes) and gave them 50 points and 15 assists when they met on Christmas.
Luka also scored 33 in back-to-back games, 31+ in five straight, and beat this total in 16 of his last 20 games. Kyrie Irving is questionable and could miss the game, which would give him even more of a launching pad to clear this line as he prepares to take on three of the best scorers in the NBA.

Johnson averaged 8.2 rebounds per game and recorded seven boards in three straight games. He’s become an integral piece of the rotations, averaging 35.3 minutes in January, and will be a valuable piece going against a Golden State Warriors squad that rebounds well at the wing and guard positions.
Johnson should have a greater opportunity to grab some rebounds with Trae Young set to miss the game because of a concussion. Young’s absence should lead to fewer open shots for the Atlanta Hawks, which should allow Johnson to spend more time crashing the glass. The Warriors also don’t typically play big men-heavy minutes and won’t have guys blocking his path to an over.
