Best NBA Prop Bets Today November 29 2023

Jordan Poole Under 17.5 Points (-111) at FanDuel

The Washington Wizards’ decision to trade for Poole appears to have been a huge mistake. His scoring is down from each of the last two years, and he’s shooting his worst field goal, three-point, and free-throw percentages of his career since his rookie year.

Poole had a few games of 20+ points but only put up 10 against the Detroit Pistons in his last game. He also hasn’t shot better than 50% from the floor in his last 10 games and is going against an Orlando Magic squad that is second in defensive rating.

LeBron James Over 25.5 Points (-102) at FanDuel

LeBron and the Los Angeles Lakers lost by 44 points the last time they were on the court, which prompted him to say afterward that there needed to be change. While many of his teammates have been hit or miss, he’s been fairly consistent and will also relish the opportunity to set an example for his teammates.

The Detroit Pistons are on a 14-game losing streak and have substituted some of their defensive guys’ minutes for more offensive players. Watch for LeBron to use the opportunity to go against a struggling team with lesser players to boat his scoring average and get the Lakers back on track.

Kevin Durant Over 29.5 Points (-106) at FanDuel

If we like LeBron’s over, it’s only right we also go with Durant’s over. The 35-year-old has been on fire recently, scoring 30+ points in five straight games and averaging 32.9 points in November. He’s also as efficient as ever, shooting 53.3% from the floor and a league-best 52.2% from three-point land.

Frank Vogel has found the perfect way to balance the scoring talents of Durant and Devin Booker with their motion, spacing, and the intelligent decision to make sure both players are one pass away so that opposing teams can’t use many double teams. This formula is working early and should only get better as the year progresses.

Alperen Sengun Over 4.5 Assists (-146) at FanDuel

We picked Sengun assists yesterday, and he delivered. We’re going back to the well today as the Houston Rockets prepare to take on the Denver Nuggets and Nikola Jokic, Sengun’s self-admitted inspiration in the league.

The Nuggets are just about average on defense and allowed Sengun to dish out eight assists (plus 21 points and 15 rebounds) when they played last Friday. And as great as Jokic is, he isn’t much in the way of a one-on-one defender. Sengun is a budding star with a great feel for passing, and his assist total is only going to rise with every passing year.

Russell Westbrook Over 10.5 Points (+100) at FanDuel

Westbrook scored 14 points in back-to-back games and is averaging 12.3 per game for the year. He’s still inefficient as a shooter, but he’s continued to bring his trademark aggression and hustle to every game for a Los Angeles Clippers team that is still yet to play impressive basketball with James Harden in the lineup.

The Clippers will face the Sacramento Kings, who exerted a ton of energy to pull off their huge comeback against the Warriors last night. It’s reasonable to expect them to be slightly gassed, and for their rotations to reflect that. Westbrook is one player who doesn’t need to be told twice to attack a tired defender, so we think his points total is a sound bet.
