Josh Giddey was a highly touted player for the Oklahoma City Thunder when he first came into the team. While he’s grown every season, Giddey has struggled to integrate fully this year and has seen his numbers drop. Against a tough, two-way Sixers team, Giddey likely won’t see any joy on the offensive end.
Through 15 games, Thunder guard Josh Giddey has averaged 12.3 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 4.5 assists on 43.5% from the field and 31.0% from three-point range. His usage hasn’t dropped significantly, sitting second on the team with 25.0%, but his offensive limitations have been a sticking point through the early season.
Giddey has hit under 12.5 points in eight of his 15 games this season for the Thunder. He’s failed to score more than 12.5 points in three straight games. Against a Sixers team that is happy to protect the rim, Giddey’s lack of shooting projects to play right into their defensive schemes.

Nic Claxton isn’t the player you think of to fill the scoresheet, and that’s for good reason. While he’s a capable threat on the pick-and-roll due to his height and athleticism, Claxton has always lacked the individual ability as a one-on-one scorer. When he faces the Heat and matches up with Bam Adebayo, Claxton’s offensive production isn’t promising.
On the season, Nic Claxton has averaged 12.2 points, 8.7 rebounds, and 2.7 blocks per game on 66.0% from the field. After missing eight games of the season due to injury, Claxton is still rounding into form after returning to the lineup just this month. Claxton has fallen short of 11.5 points in four of his six appearances this season.
The Miami Heat are one of the strongest defensive teams in the NBA. Claxton scored 16 points on perfect shooting in his last game against Miami, but don’t expect the Heat to allow a similar performance. Posting just 10.3 points per game through three games against the Heat last season

De’Andre Hunter hasn’t taken the leap that many hoped he would through the early phases of the NBA season. On a team with excellent playmakers in Trae Young and Dejounte Murray, Hunter has acted as a perfect outlet for offensive opportunities–particularly from three-point range.
On the season, Hunter is averaging 13.3 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 1.6 threes per game on 44.8% from the field and 34.4% from beyond the arc. While his efficiency from deep is the worst he’s posted since his sophomore season, he’s making up the difference with the volume of attempts.
Hunter has cleared 1.5 threes in seven of his 14 games through the season, hitting a season-high three threes twice so far. He faces a Wizards team that is the worst in the league at field-goal percentage allowed while allowing 12.7 threes per game (16th). Hunter will have every opportunity to clear 1.5 threes when he faces the Wizards. It’ll just be on him to convert.

A Player Prop in NBA betting focuses on individual player performance rather than the game outcome. It involves wagering on specific player actions, like points scored or rebounds, with bookmakers setting benchmarks. For instance, a LeBron James prop bet might predict if he'll score over/under 25.5 points in a game. These bets provide an extra layer of excitement, allowing bettors to concentrate on specific players within the broader game context.
