The Los Angeles Lakers can eliminate the Golden State Warriors in Game 5. LeBron James aims to lead his team to victory and the Western Conference Finals, and his overall production can be the difference maker. Jimmy Butler has the opportunity to close out the Knicks in Game 5, so don't be surprised to see him focus on his scoring. At bet365, Butler is a +100 to fall short of 5.5 assists when he faces the New York Knicks in Game 5 of their Eastern Conference Semi-Final series. After a prolific offensive performance, expect the Knicks to tighten up on Butler and limit his playmaking production.
On the season, Butler averaged 22.9 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 5.3 assists on 53.9% from the field and 35.0% from three-point range. Through the post-season, he's averaged 33.5 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 5.1 assists on 56.1% from the field and 39.4% from deep. In his most recent match, Butler posted 27 points, ten assists, and six rebounds on 52.9% from the field and 33.3% beyond the arc.
Carrying the bulk of Miami's scoring load, don't expect Butler's playmaking to break the trend. Butler cleared 5.5 assists in 30 of his 64 regular season games. However, Butler has fallen short of 5.5 assists in six of his eight post-season appearances.

Julius Randle has been excellent for the Knicks this season, but he's looked out of his depth in his Second Round series. Not much of a playmaker through the post-season, Randle's focus on getting his offense going will harm his chances at reigniting his playmaking form. At bet365, Randle is a +110 to fall short of 3.5 assists when he plays the Miami Heat in Game 5 of their Eastern Conference Second Round series.
On the season, Randle has averaged 25.1 points, 10.0 rebounds, and 4.1 assists on 45.9% from the field and 34.3% from three-point range. Through the playoffs, Randle has averaged 15.9 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 3.5 assists on 37.5% from the field and 23.1% from three. In his last game, Randle posted 20 points, nine rebounds, and three assists on 61.5% from the field and 25.0% from deep.
Randle cleared 3.5 assists in 45 of his 77 appearances through the regular season. Randle collected four or more assists in his eight post-season performances just three times. As he struggles to navigate the Heat defense, don't expect Randle's playmaking ability to bounce back even on home court.

Draymond Green returned to the starting lineup for the Warriors, and his ability was felt in his production despite his recent loss. At PointsBet, Green is a +115 to clear 16.5 points and rebounds combined when he faces the Los Angeles Lakers in Game 5 of his Western Conference Second-Round series. In a do-or-die game, expect Green's production to be at the top of his game.
Through the regular season, Green averaged 8.5 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 6.8 assists on 52.7% from the field and 30.5% from three-point range. In the 2023 NBA Playoffs, Green has averaged 8.4 points, 7.5 assists, and 6.4 rebounds on 43.1% from the field and 20.0% from deep. His most recent performance saw him produce eight points, ten rebounds, and seven assists on 60.0% from the field.
Green has cleared 16.5 points and rebounds in over 30 of his 73 regular season appearances this season. He has also collected 17 or more points and rebounds in four of his ten post-season appearances. As the Warriors aim to find better scoring opportunities, expect Green to be active as a finisher or rebounder to secure their position.

LeBron James leads his Los Angeles Lakers in a game where they can eliminate their opponents and advance to the Western Conference Finals. James' scoring has taken a backseat through the series, as his distribution and rebounding have been excellent. At PointsBet, James is a +110 to clear 15.5 rebounds and assists combined when he faces the Golden State Warriors in Game 5 of their Western Conference Semi-Final series.
James is coming off a game where he posted 27 points, nine rebounds, and six assists on 40.0% from the field and 22.2% from deep. On the season, James has averaged 28.9 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 6.8 assists on 50.0% from the field and 32.1% from three-point range. Through the 2023 NBA Playoffs, James has averaged 22.6 points, 10.2 rebounds, and 5.2 assists on 47.0% from the field and 22.9% from three-point range.
James has cleared 15.5 assists and rebounds in over 20 of his 55 regular-season appearances. Through his ten post-season games this season, though, James has collected 16 or more assists and rebounds combined twice. It's an elimination game for James, so expect the top tier of his performance when Game 5 tips off.
