NBA Player Props March 14

NBA Tuesday features exciting matchups presenting some player props with excellent potential!

Paolo Banchero aims to maintain his excellent shooting form when the Orlando Magic and San Antonio Spurs face off. The Toronto Raptors and Denver Nuggets matchup again within a week, and Pascal Siakam should return to form. And when the Los Angeles Lakers and New Orleans Pelicans face off, Malik Beasley’s sharpshooting will be on full display.

Let’s check out the bets!

Orlando Magic vs San Antonio Spurs: Best Prop Bets

Paolo Banchero Three-Pointers Over 1.5 (+130) @ PointsBet

Paolo Banchero looks like the runaway winner for Rookie of the Year, but he still has a season to finish. At PointsBet, Banchero is a +130 to clear 1.5 threes when he faces the San Antonio Spurs. Not a great three-point shooter but on a good run of form, Banchero has a great chance at clearing 1.5.

Banchero’s performance against quality opponents is encouraging. On the season, Banchero is averaging 20.0 points, 6.6 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and 1.1 threes per game on 42.3% from the field and 28.3% from the three-point range. However, over his last five matches, Banchero has averaged 24.0 points, 6.6 rebounds, 4.2 assists, and 1.8 threes on 45.2% from the field and 40.9% from the three-point range.

In this matchup, Banchero projects to maintain his excellent shooting form. The Orlando Magic rookie star has cleared 1.5 threes in three of his last five games and 20 of his 61 appearances this season. He faces off against a San Antonio Spurs team that allows 12.3 threes (17th in the NBA) on 39.3% efficiency per game (30th in the NBA).

Denver Nuggets vs Toronto Raptors: Best Prop Bets

Pascal Siakam Rebounds Over 6.5 (+105) @ DraftKings Sportsbook

Pascal Siakam struggled during the Toronto Raptors’ five-game road trip, but he’ll welcome a return to his home court. Returning to Toronto after a troubling road performance, Siakam should reignite his All-NBA form. At DraftKings Sportsbook, Siakam is a +105 to clear 6.5 rebounds when he faces the Denver Nuggets.

Siakam’s production doesn’t usually waver between home and road games, but he’s much more efficient shooting the ball in Toronto. On the season, Siakam is averaging 24.4 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 5.9 assists on 47.3% from the field and 34.3% from three-point range. However, over his five-game road trip, Siakam averaged 15.8 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 5.0 assists on 42.3% from the field and 31.3% from the three-point range.

Denver isn’t the strongest rebounding team, averaging just 43.1 boards per game (17th in the NBA), but they hold their opponents to just 40.3 rebounds per game (1st in the NBA). Siakam cleared 6.5 rebounds in just one of his five games over the Raptors’ recent road trip, but he’s done so in 39 of his 58 appearances this season. With a three-game home stand for the Raptors, Siakam should return to form and clear 6.5 rebounds as he’s done so many times this season.

Malik Beasley was brought into the Los Angeles Lakers team for his shooting, and he’s mostly done his job. At FanDuel Sportsbook, Beasley is a +106 to hit more than 2.5 threes when he takes on the New Orleans Pelicans. As the Lakers fight for playoff position in the Western Conference,

Beasley’s production has dipped below his season averages since joining the Lakers, but he’s remained just as aggressive shooting the ball. On the season, Beasley averages 13.0 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 3.0 three-pointers per game on 39.2% from the field and 35.3% from the three-point range. Since joining the Lakers, Beasley has averaged 11.3 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 2.5 threes on 37.0% from the field and 32.6% from the three-point range.

The New Orleans Pelicans are solid defending the three-point line in terms of efficiency, but they still allow 12.2 threes per game (14th in the West). Beasley has failed to clear 2.5 threes in ten days, but he’s done so in 39 of his 67 appearances this season. Efficiency isn’t the concern for Beasley, so against a Pelicans team that will allow him the volume opportunities to shoot, he should get back on track to clear 2.5 threes.
