Wendell Carter Jr. has finally been able to rally together a positive run of games after being out for such an extended period of time. At FanDuel Sportsbook, Carter Jr. is a +100 to clear 8.5 rebounds when he takes on the FanDuel Sportsbook.
On the season, Carter Jr. is averaging 15.8 points, 8.6 rebounds, and 2.8 assists on 52.2% from the field and 35.6% from three-point range. Over his last five appearances though, Carter Jr. is averaging 15.0 points, 8.6 rebounds, and 2.8 assists on 52.7% from the field and 47.1% from three-point range.
While Carter Jr. has played just 25 matches this season, he's cleared 8.5 rebounds in 13 games. The Pelicans are a tough rebounding team, but given Orlando's size and team effort on the glass Carter Jr. should clear 8.5 this evening.
Canadian rookie sensation Andrew Nembhard has stepped up since the Pacers lost point guard Tyrese Haliburton to injury. At DraftKings Sportsbook, Nembhard is a -105 to fall short of 16.5 points and assists combined when he takes on the Nuggets.
On the season, Nembhard is averaging a modest 8.6 points, 4.0 assists, and 3.1 rebounds on 44.2% from the field and 37.9% from three-point range. However in his last five games, Nembhard has averaged 9.8 points, 6.4 assists, and 3.4 rebounds on 30.0% from the field and 28.0% from three-point range.
While Nembhard has stepped up his game in Haliburton's absence, the increased role has affected the quality of his shot attempts. While he's coming off of a performance where he collected 25 points and assists combined, the savvy Nuggets defense should be able to keep the Canadian rookie in check.
Julius Randle continues his All-Star-worthy campaign, now looking to translate his play into a victory over his Eastern Conference rivals. At PointsBet, Randle is a +110 to clear 17.5 assists and rebounds combined when he takes on the Atlanta Hawks.
On the season, Randle is averaging 24.2 points, 10.7 rebounds, and 3.9 assists on 45.5% from the field and 33.5% from three-point range. Randle has been brilliant over his last five games, despite New York's 3-2 record over that span. He's averaged 22.8 points, 15.4 rebounds, and 4.2 assists on 44.6% from the field and 29.0% from three.
Given the intensity of his rebounding, Randle has been able to clear 17.5 assists and rebounds combined in five of his last six games. With the attention that he'll draw from the Hawks' defense, expect another excellent playmaking and rebounding night from Randle.
