When the NBA kicks off its jam-packed Thursday night schedule, keep an eye out for some of the dynamic guards set to hit the court!
When the Chicago Bulls and Detroit Pistons meet, look for Ayo Dosunmu's scoring to get back on track. For Stephen Curry, he'll hope his playmaking is in check when the Golden State Warriors face the Boston Celtics. And when the Philadelphia 76ers face the Portland Trail Blazers, Josh Hart's role as backcourt support will be under the microscope.
Let's check out the bets!
Ayo Dosunmu is still making strides as one of the NBA's more exciting young point guards. At DraftKings, Dosunmu is a +100 to clear 8.5 points when he takes on the Detroit Pistons.
On the season, Ayo Dosunmu is averaging 9.5 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 2.7 assists on 50.0% from the field and 32.7% from the three-point range. He is coming off of a positive performance against the Warriors where he posted 12 points, 6 assists, and 2 steals in 40 minutes of play.
With DeMar DeRozan possibly out due to injury, expect Dosunmu to have extended minutes for a second straight game. Against a porous Pistons defense, Dosunmu should have plenty of opportunities to get on the score sheet.

Now back for four straight games, Stephen Curry looks to translate his recent form into victory in his next match. At Caesars Sportsbook, Curry is a +114 to clear 5.5 assists when he takes on the Boston Celtics.
On the season, Curry is averaging 29.3 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 6.3 assists on 49.3% from the field and 42.1% from three-point range. He's been more focused on his scoring through his last three-four games though, averaging 25.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 3.0 assists on 44.2% from the field and 34.0% from three-point range.
The Boston Celtics are sure to put pressure on Curry after he gave them 30-plus points in their last meeting. Given his versatility he's sure to create opportunities for his teammates, it'll just be up to them to convert.
Josh Hart is definitely more of a utility guard for the Portland Trail Blazers, but his all-around production is certainly valuable. At PointsBet, Hart is a +100 to clear 13.5 points and assists combined when he takes on the Philadelphia 76ers.
On the season, Hart is averaging 9.5 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 4.1 assists on 50.2% from the field and 32.6% from three-point range. He's been quiet over his last three games though, averaging just 7.7 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 3.7 assists on 41.7% from the field and 18.2% from three.
Given the strength of Philadelphia's perimeter defense, expect Hart to take on a larger role with the defensive focus on Lillard and Simons. Hart has proven to be a very capable passer, and he'll surely see time as an auxiliary playmaker in this matchup.
