NBA Player Props January 17

Keep an eye on some of the key men who will be performing on the NBA's limited Tuesday night schedule.

When the Brooklyn Nets and the San Antonio Spurs face off, keep an eye on Ben Simmons' production on the glass and Keldon Johnson's ability as a playmaker. For the Denver Nuggets and Portland Trail Blazers, it's important to focus on Anfernee Simons' three-point shooting and Jerami Grant's willingness to contribute on the glass.

Let's check out the bets!

Brooklyn Nets @ San Antonio Spurs: Best Prop Bets

Ben Simmons Rebounds U 7.5 (+105) @ DraftKings Sportsbook

Ben Simmons may not be playing at his All-Star form, but with Kevin Durant out he'll need to step up his play. At DraftKings Sportsbook, Simmons is a +105 to clear 7.5 rebounds when he takes on the San Antonio Spurs.

On the season, Simmons is averaging 7.5 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 6.2 assists on 58.2% shooting from the field. In his last two games without Durant available, Simmons has averaged 5.0 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 6.5 assists.

There are going to be plenty of opportunities for Simmons to get on the glass, but the Spurs are one of the few teams who have the youth and athleticism to match his own. Simmons is sure to push the pace, but with the likes of Sochan and Poeltl on the glass expect a tougher night on the boards for Simmons.

Keldon Johnson has taken on a greater role for the San Antonio Spurs this season, and he'll look to improve his play despite the Spurs' recent struggles. At bet365, Johnson is a +130 to clear 2.5 assists when he takes on the Brooklyn Nets.

On the season, Johnson is averaging 21.1 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 2.7 assists on 42.1% from the field and 33.8% from three-point range. Over his last three games after returning from injury, Johnson has averaged 20.3 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 2.3 assists on 35.8% from the field and 21.1% from three-point range.

While shooting efficiency isn't the name of Johnson's game, he'll need to put on his playmaking hat when he takes on the Nets' tough defense. Given their pace of play and the focus he'll receive from the Nets' defense, Johnson should clear 2.5 assists for the 19th time this season.

Denver Nuggets @ Portland Trail Blazers: Best Prop Bets

Anfernee Simons continues to prove himself to be one of the most exciting young players in the NBA. At Caesars Sportsbook, Simons is a +110 to clear 3.5 threes when he takes on the Denver Nuggets.

On the season, Simons is averaging 21.9 points, 4.0 assists, 2.9 rebounds, and 3.7 threes on 44.2% from the field and 37.4% from three-point range. However, over his last five games, Simons has been more subdued with 28.6 points, 4.6 assists, and 2.6 threes per game.

Simons has faced the Nuggets three times already this season, hitting eight of 28 of his three-point attempts. While the Nuggets seem to have locked him down from deep, expect him to bounce back off the strength of his recent wins.

Jerami Grant Rebounds O 4.5 (+105) @ bet365

Jerami Grant's offensive contributions have definitely changed throughout his career, but he's proven to be a very productive player. At bet365, Grant is a +105 to clear 4.5 rebounds when he takes on the Denver Nuggets.

On the season, Grant is averaging 21.7 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 2.5 assists on 49.3% from the field and 42.8% from the three-point range. Over his last three games, Grant has averaged 19.3 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 2.0 assists on 60% from the field and 50% from three-point range.

In three games against the Nuggets this season, Grant has collected 12 rebounds - with a seven-rebound effort leading the way. With Portland's preference to match Jokic with Nurkic, expect Grant to get on the glass to make up the difference to improve Portland's chances of winning the game.
