With nine games lined up for the NBA's Martin Luther King Jr. Day special, there's are some interesting props to keep an eye on for the full day of matches.
Giannis Antetokounmpo returns to play for the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday, leading his Milwaukee Bucks against the Indiana Pacers. When the New York Knicks and Toronto Raptors play again, Jalen Brunson looks to maintain his excellent play. And when the New Orleans Pelicans face the Cleveland Cavaliers, Jonas Valanciunas' recent uptick in the three-point shooting will be key to their success.
Let's check out the bets!
Giannis Antetokounmpo has missed out on his last two games but is expected to return in this matchup. At PointsBet, Antetokounmpo is a +120 to clear 5.5 assists when he takes on the Indiana Pacers.
On the season, Antetokounmpo is averaging 31.0 points, 11.9 rebounds, and 5.3 assists on 52.4% from the field and 24.5% from the three-point range. In his last five games before injury though, Antetokounmpo averaged 24.6 points, 12.6 rebounds, and 6.4 assists on 45.8% from the field and 18.2% from three-point range.
When Antetokounmpo leads his Bucks against the Pacers, the two-time MVP is sure to be aggressive on the offensive end. The Pacers aren't great at defending inside the arc so expect them to blitz Antetokounmpo, which should open up opportunities for his playmaking.
Jalen Brunson looks to maintain his All-Star-worthy season and lead his Knicks to victory in this next match. At DraftKings Sportsbook, Brunson is a +100 to clear 6.5 assists when he takes on the Toronto Raptors.
On the season, Brunson has been averaging 22.2 points, 6.5 assists, and 3.6 rebounds on 47.3% from the field and 39.3% from three-point range. However, against the Toronto Raptors this year, Brunson has averaged 16.5 points, 10.0 assists, and 4.0 rebounds.
The Knicks have looked good against the Raptors and Brunson has been impressive against their swarming defense. With VanVleet likely out due to injury, expect Brunson to be even more productive for the Knicks in this matchup.

Jonas Valanciunas may not be a player known for his three-point-making ability, but he's been successful enough this season to make it something worth monitoring. At bet365, Valanciunas is a +100 to clear 0.5 threes when he takes on the Cleveland Cavaliers.
On the season, Valanciunas is averaging 14.5 points, 9.7 rebounds, and 0.6 threes on 53.3% from the field and 35.1% from deep. Over Valanciunas' last three games, he's averaged 24.3 points, 10.7 rebounds, and 0.7 threes on 67.5% from the field and 50.0% from three-point range.
Valanciunas' likelihood of clearing 0.5 threes is generally better against teams that play with a more traditional lineup. Having averaged 1.6 three-point attempts per game over his last 10 games, it bodes well for Valanciunas to clear 0.5 threes. It should help that the Cavaliers are 23rd overall in three-point efficiency allowed while also allowing 11.7 threes per game (11th in the NBA).
