Collin Sexton is an energetic point guard is looking to build on his recent positive play. At Fanduel Sportsbook, Sexton is a +106 to clear 1.5 threes when he takes on the Indiana Pacers.
On the season, Sexton is averaging 14.5 points, 2.8 assists, and 1.1 threes per game on 50.9% from the field and 41.7% from three-point range. Eve though the Jazz are 1-4 over their last five games, Sexton has averaged 16.2 points, 3.4 assists, and 2.6 rebounds on 58.3% from the field and 38.5% from three.
We're expecting Sexton's shooting to be a difference maker against the Pacers, who allow 12.5 threes per game (19th in the NBA) on 37.1% efficiency (29th in the NBA). While he prefers to attack the rim, the Pacers shot blockers should feed right into Sexton's three-point shooting quality.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is one of the league's top young point guards who has been rewarded with his first-ever All-Star nod! At PointsBet, Gilgeous-Alexander is a +135 to fail to hit a three-pointer when he plays the Oklahoma City Thunder.
On the season, Gilgeous-Alexander is averaging 31.0 points, 5.7 assists, 4.6 rebounds, and 0.9 threes on 51.1% from the field and 35.3% from the three-point range. Over his last five games, the Canadian international has averaged 32.0 points, 5.8 assists, 3.4 rebounds, and 0.2 threes on 51.6% from the field and 12.5% from the three-point range.
Gilgeous-Alexander prefers to attack the rim, and he's so successful that he rarely needs to put up a high volume of three-point shots. Considering the Pelicans' defense allows just 34.2% efficiency from deep (1st in the NBA), we don't see Gilgeous-Alexander hitting a three on his current form.
Spencer Dinwiddie may have just joined the Brooklyn Nets, but he's already made a noticeable impact for them. At DraftKings Sportsbook, Dinwiddie is a +105 to clear 5.5 assists when he faces the New York Knicks.
On the season, Dinwiddie is averaging 17.7 points, 5.3 assists, and 3.2 rebounds on 45.2% from the field and 39.8% from three-point range. However over his first two games back with the Brooklyn Nets, Dinwiddie has averaged 17.0 points, 6.0 assists, and 5.5 rebounds on 37.0% from the field and 18.2% from three-point range.
With his shooting being both hot and cold since being traded to the Nets, Dinwiddie has relied on his passing and rebounding to make up the difference. The Knicks are an excellent three-point shooting team, so expect Dinwiddie to have more of a focus on creating for others given his ability to run the offence.
