The NBA has just five games on their Thursday night schedule, and we've got our eye on some exciting player props!
As he continues his MVP bid, Joel Embiid wants to dominate the boards when the Philadelphia 76ers play the Miami Heat. Canadian star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander's playmaking must be engaged when the Oklahoma City Thunder face the Utah Jazz. And when the Cleveland Cavaliers face the Orlando Magic, Markelle Fultz aims to maintain his outside shooting.

Joel Embiid is trying to secure his place as the league's Most Valuable Player for the 2022-23 NBA season, and his play has done more than suggest that he's the favorite. At Caesars Sportsbook, Embiid is a +108 to clear 10.5 rebounds when he faces the Miami Heat. Embiid should dominate the Heat in the paint in his current run of form.
On the season, Embiid is averaging 33.3 points, 10.2 rebounds, and 4.2 assists on 54.7% from the field and 32.8% from the three-point range. Embiid has averaged 32.5 points, 10.8 rebounds, and 3.8 assists on 57.5% from the field and 15.4% from three in his five games since returning from injury. In his only appearance against the Heat, Embiid posted 27 points, 12 rebounds, and two assists on 58.8% shooting.
The Heat aren't a solid rebounding team and lack the personnel to match Embiid. Embiid cleared 10.5 rebounds in two of his last four games. Out of his 63 appearances, Embiid has collected 11 or more rebounds 30 times. Expect the Cameroonian MVP candidate to have another massive game and clear 10.5 rebounds.

Thunder All-Star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander may be known for his scoring prowess, but his ability as a playmaker can be overlooked. At FanDuel Sportsbook, Gilgeous-Alexander is a +114 to clear 5.5 assists when he faces the Utah Jazz. Against a Utah team missing four key contributors, Gilgeous-Alexander should have free reign on the offensive end.
On the season, Gilgeous-Alexander is averaging 31.5 points, 5.4 assists, and 4.8 rebounds on 51.2% from the field and 35.0% from the three-point range. Through his last three games since returning from injury, Gilgeous-Alexander has averaged 36.7 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 5.3 assists on 54.1% from the field and 33.3% from three-point range. He's also been excellent against the Jazz this season, averaging 38.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 5.5 assists in two games.
Gilgeous-Alexander has collected six or more assists in just one of his last three games - all losses. In 67 appearances this season, Gilgeous-Alexander has cleared 5.5 assists 33 times. The Jazz are in a hole with many injuries to close the season, so they'll try to maintain their pace. In that tempo, Gilgeous-Alexander will find his playmaking edge.

Markelle Fultz's return to form has been one of the NBA's most heartwarming stories, and he doesn't look to slow down anytime soon. At DraftKings Sportsbook, Fultz is a +160 to hit at least one three-pointer against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Given his current shooting form and the Cavaliers' interior defense, Fultz is set to make this bet hit!
On the season, Fultz is averaging 14.2 points, 5.8 assists, 4.0 rebounds, and 0.4 threes per game on 51.5% from the field and 31.3% from three. Over his last three games, Fultz has averaged 19.7 points, 6.0 assists, 3.3 rebounds, and 1.3 threes per game on 67.5% from the field. In two games against the Cavaliers, Fultz posted averages of 16.5 points, 7.0 assists, 4.0 rebounds, and 0.5 threes on 61.5% from the field and 50.0% from three.
Over Fultz's last three games, the Magic point guard has hit four threes in three games without missing. In 58 appearances this season, Fultz has hit at least one three-pointer in 18 games. The Cavaliers are great at limiting threes, but the percentage they allow is in the bottom third. On his current form, Fultz should clear this bet with ease.
