Pocono hosts its second race in 2019 as the Cup Series moves on to round 21.
The first race of the year saw a dominant run by Kyle Busch.
Kevin Harvick and Stewart-Haas are coming off their first win in 2019 after a bold call at New Hamsphire.
The weather is another important factor to keep an eye on.

It’s hard to bet against Kyle Busch this time around.
The Joe Gibbs driver is the man to beat at Pocono, perhaps more than at any other track.
Busch has three wins in the last five starts at the Tricky Triangle.
He is also the defending race winner, having scored another victory last July.
The younger Busch made it back-to-back wins at Pocono earlier this year in June.
He had a dominant run, leading 79 of the 160 laps on his way to victory lane.
The 2015 champion is currently second in the points standings.
His four wins in 2019 are tied for the series lead.
Busch had a solid run last time out at New Hampshire, leading the most laps and winning the first stage.

Kevin Harvick finally ended his drought after 21 races.
It was his longest winless streak to start a season since joining Stewart-Haas Racing.
While it didn’t come through raw pace, this is a nice boost for the team.
Harvick saw a run of five consecutive top 5 finishes at Pocono come to an end in June.
He came close to finally scoring his first win at the Tricky Triangle last year.
After starting from the front row, Harvick led a race-high 89 laps and won the second stage, but finished fourth.
Carrying the momentum from the first win of the season, he will likely be among the front-runners again.
Now qualified for the playoffs, the 2014 champion is up to third in the standings.
Harvick has one win, six top 5 and 12 top 10 finishes in 20 races.

Martin Truex Jr. is one of two drivers to have beaten Kyle Busch in the last five races at Pocono.
The Joe Gibbs driver won at the track last year, scoring his second victory there.
He also won at the Tricky Triangle back in 2015.
Consistency, however, has been a major issue for him at Pocono.
The 2017 champion finished outside the top 20 six times in the last ten starts.
Truex retired from this year’s June race with mechanical problems.
He is sixth in points, but is tied with Kyle Busch for the series lead in wins with four.

Kurt Busch scored his first win of the season two races ago at Kentucky.
He narrowly edged out younger brother Kyle for a maiden win with Chip Ganassi.
Pocono is one of his best tracks as well.
Busch’s three wins at the tri-oval are tied for second among active drivers.
The 2004 champion is back to being Chevrolet’s leading driver in 2019.
Busch is seventh in the standings, having scored one win, five top 5 and 11 top 10 finishes in 20 starts.

Denny Hamlin leads all active drivers with four wins at Pocono.
His first career wins came at the track, with a surprisingly dominant sweep as a rookie in 2006.
However, #11 hasn’t gone back to victory lane at the Tricky Triangle since 2010.
Hamlin only has one top 5 and four top 10 finishes in his last ten starts there.
He did show some signs of improvement earlier this year, finishing sixth.
It was his second-highest finish at Pocono since 2014.
The Joe Gibbs driver narrowly missed out on a win last time out at New Hampshire.
Hamlin came close to beating Kevin Harvick on a last-lap dash.
He is currently fourth in points with two wins, seven top 5 and ten top 10 finishes.

Kyle Larson came close to pulling off an upset in June.
The Chip Ganassi driver had a good car and fought among the top runners for most of the race.
Larson led 35 laps and won both stages, but dropped out after a coming-together with Clint Bowyer.
He also finished second at Pocono in June 2018, but has yet to win at the Tricky Triangle.
Larson has struggled this season compared to new teammate Kurt Busch.
His last win came nearly two years ago.
He is carrying some momentum from two top 5 finishes in four races, including a season-best second at Chicago.
Larson is down in 13th with only four top 5 and seven top 10 finishes.

Once again, keep an eye on the weather report for the weekend.
Rain showers could bring the race to an early end.
Three years ago, Chris Buescher scored a major upset victory in a rain-shortened race.
NASCAR will likely try everything to keep the race going, but there is enough potential for an underdog winner.
That being said, only two of the last 15 races at Pocono have been cut short by weather.
