While it makes sense that a team is scoring more in wins than they are in losses, such dramatic peaks, and valleys are concerning early on.
Also concerning for the Mets is the fact that they are hitting just .201 as a team, which puts them in 26th in Major League Baseball in that category. Only the Nationals, Mariners, Royals, and Tigers have been worse in that department so far. Of course, it is early in the season and small sample sizes are skewing things for now, but the Mets bats may be more influential to their success than Scherzer tonight.
