But the Diamondbacks still have time to turn things around, starting with this game against the NL West leaders.
If the Diamondbacks are going to end their losing streak and turn things around starting on Tuesday, they will need Brandon Pfaadt to step up in a big way on the mound. Pfaadt enters this contest with a record of 0-5 and an ERA of 7.11. Against one of the best offensive teams in all of baseball, Pfaadt will have his work cut out for him if he wants to come through for his team in this crucial spot.
On the bright side for the Diamondbacks, they do have the potential for a big offensive showing to make up for any issues Pfaadt does have in this contest.
