To make it even more exciting, both offenses are in a position to start the scoring early against two underwhelming pitchers.

Starting with the Padres, their offense has played as one of the best units in the league and have only managed to get even better since the arrival of current league leader in Total Hits Luis Arraez Jr. With Arraez and star slugger Fernando Tatis Jr leading the charge, the Padres offense currently ranks near the top of the board in Team Total Hits, RBIs, Total Runs Scored, and On Base Percentage.

They may very well get the opportunity to build some momentum in the contact department against Ryan Weathers who possesses an ERA of 3.41 and a WHIP of 1.121, and a Marlins defense that ranks bottom-3 in Defensive Efficiency.
