The first daily NRFI we are focusing on is in the Astros vs. Phillies matchup. Justin Verlander squares off against Aaron Nola.
The second NRFI we are taking is in the San Francisco vs. Milwaukee matchup. Logan Webb goes up against Tobias Myers. Both pitchers have been excellent in their past few starts, and we expect this trend to continue on Tuesday.
We are taking both of these wagers on bet365 Sportsbook, one of the best MLB sportsbooks for betting. As a special offer, bet365 gives new users a $1,000 safety net bet or $150 in bonus bets. Don't forget to use our promo code WSN365.

The first NRFI we are focusing on features Justin Verlander and the Astros against Aaron Nola and the Phillies. Houston is 70-60 and in first place in the AL West. Philadelphia comes into this matchup at 76-54 with a six-game lead in the NL East.
Verlander is 3-3 with a 3.92 ERA in 2024. He has struck out 57 batters in 62 innings and has a WHIP of 1.19. In his last start, he went five innings allowing two runs, while striking out six against Boston.
Nola has been impressive this season as he is 11-6 with an ERA of 3.45. He has fanned 147 batters in 159.1 innings and has a 1.18 WHIP. In Nola’s last three starts, he has allowed five runs in 17 innings while striking out 13.
Both offenses rank in the top five in team batting average, which is a big reason why both clubs are leading their divisions. The Astros are hitting .260 as a team, while the Phillies are hitting .259.
Yordan Alvarez is swinging a hot bat in 2024, hitting .306 with 25 home runs and 67 RBIs. Jose Altuve has also been impressive, hitting .296 to go with 18 home runs.
These are two teams to usually avoid when taking an NRFI, but with these two pitchers on the mound, we feel like we have an advantage. Look for the offenses to start slow in this game with Verlander and Nola leading the charge.

The second NRFI we have selected for Tuesday’s MLB slate is in the San Francisco vs. Milwaukee game. The Giants are 66-66 in fourth place in the NL West. The Brewers come into this game at 75-55 with a ten-game lead over the Cardinals in the NL Central.
Logan Webb gets the start for the Giants and he is 11-8 with a 3.13 ERA. He has struck out 146 batters in 172.2 innings and has a 1.19 WHIP. Webb has been fantastic in his last three starts going 22.2 innings allowing just three earned runs.
The Brewers are going with Tobias Myers who is 6-5 with an ERA of 2.87. He has 90 strikeouts in 103.1 innings and has a 1.14 WHIP. Myers has done a terrific job of pitching to contact and limiting walks in 2024.
The Giants have been mediocre on offense this season as they are hitting .242 as a team, which is the 16th-best in baseball. Matt Chapman is hitting .242 to go with 20 home runs and 63 RBIs.
The Brewers have been one of the best offensive teams this season as they are hitting .253, which is the seventh-best in the league. William Contreras is hitting .283 with 17 home runs and 74 RBIs.
We expect these pitchers to dominate and keep runs off the scoreboard to cash our second NRFI.
