On the other side of the field, the Dodgers' newly acquired Jack Flaherty gets the benefit of throwing against the anemic Mariners offense. He has been one of the lone sources of production for the lowly White Sox, taking the mound with an ERA of 3.61, a WHIP of 1.067, FIP of 2.85, 176 Total Strikeouts, and just 103 Hits Against. With the Giants' offense continuing to regress to league average in the same previously mentioned offensive metrics, expect Crochet to minimize early scoring opportunities and hold them scoreless in the first inning.
