Best NRFI Bets Today: Back Cole Ragans on Tuesday

The first NRFI we are focusing on features Tyler Anderson and the Angels against Cole Ragans and the Royals. 

Los Angeles is 53-71 in fourth place in the AL West. Kansas City comes into this matchup at 69-55 trailing Cleveland by three games in the AL Central. 

The Royals are +600 to win the AL Central on bet365 Sportsbook. They currently hold a wild-card spot, but Boston and Seattle are closing as well.

Tyler Anderson takes the mound and he is 9-11 with an ERA of 3.30. He has 117 strikeouts in 147.1 innings and a 1.17 WHIP. Anderson does not have the best stats in 2024, but he has gotten no run support either. 

Cole Ragans is 10-7 with a 3.18 ERA in 2024. He has fanned 174 batters in 147.1 innings, which is well above the league average. 

In Ragans’ last three starts, he has allowed four runs in 19 innings, while striking out 21. 

The Angels have not produced much offense this season as they are hitting .235 as a team. Zach Neto leads the club in average hitting .261 with 17 home runs and 61 RBIs. 

The Royals have been quite the opposite as they are hitting .256 as a team which is the sixth-best in baseball. Bobby Witt has been fantastic as he is hitting .350 which is the best in 2024. 

Even with the offensive success the Royals have produced, we trust Anderson in this spot to get the job done. Look for him and Ragans to limit the runs in this game to cash our first NRFI.

Best NRFI Bets Today: Twins vs. Padres (9:40 PM, EST)

1st Inning Under 0.5 Runs (-128) at bet365

The second NRFI we are taking is in the Twins vs. Padres game. Minnesota is 70-54 in second place in the AL Central. The Padres are 70-55 trailing the Dodgers by three games in the NL West. 

Bailey Ober takes the mound for Minnesota and he is 12-5 with an ERA of 3.49. He has struck out 140 batters in 134 innings and has a 1.00 WHIP. 

Ober has been fantastic in his last three starts as he has gone 19 innings allowing just four runs on 11 hits. 

San Diego is starting Martin Perez who is 3-5 with a 4.62 ERA. He has a 1.49 ERA and has been dominant as of late. 

Perez has only allowed four runs in his last three starts while striking out 21. 

Both offenses have been great in 2024. The Padres are hitting .266 as a team which ranks first in the league. 

The Twins are hitting .252 which is the tenth best in baseball. They have gotten most of their production from Ryan Jeffers who has 19 home runs and 57 RBIs in 2024. Willi Castro has also been good, hitting .258 along with ten home runs and 47 RBIs. 

Despite both offenses ranking in the top ten in baseball, we trust both starting pitchers to go deep into this game and cash our second NRFI.
