The best bet in sports is the NRFI, and we are taking this wager in two games on Tuesday. The first NRFI we have selected is in the Phillies vs. Twins game. Zack Wheeler squares off against Simeon Woods Richardson.
The second NRFI we are focusing on is in the Brewers vs. Cubs game. Colin Rea takes the hill for Milwaukee against Jameson Taillon.

The first-place Phillies take on the Twins on Tuesday night. Philadelphia is 63-36, leading the NL East by 8.5 games.
Minnesota is 54-44 in second place in the AL Central. The Phillies are +400 to win the World Series, while the Twins are 20/1 on FanDuel sportsbook.
Wheeler takes the mound for the Phillies at 10-4 with a 2.70 ERA. He has 126 strikeouts in 116.2 innings, which is 13th most in 2024. Wheeler has a 0.99 WHIP and has been one of the best pitchers in the league.
Minnesota is going with Simeon Woods Richardson, who is 3-1 with a 3.51 ERA. He has struck out 71 batters in 82 innings and has a WHIP of 1.15. Richardson ended the first half of the season strong, only allowing two runs and recording seven strikeouts against San Francisco.
These starting pitchers have been great this season, and we expect them to start the second half of the season on the right track.
The NRFI bet is one of the best types of wagers to take right after the All-Star break because hitters have not seen live pitching in action for a week. We expect both offenses to start slow in this matchup and runs to be minimal.
Both pitchers like to keep the ball in the yard and limit the walks, two critical factors for successful NRFI bets. Look for both pitchers to go deep into this game and the offenses to start slow to cash our first NRFI.

Our second NRFI is in the Brewers vs. Cubs game. Milwaukee has had a terrific season at 57-42, leading the NL Central by five games. Chicago is 48-53 in fourth place in this division.
Colin Rea takes the mound for the Brewers, who is a big reason for their success in 2024. He is 9-3 with a 3.77 ERA and has a WHIP of 1.21. Rea has 76 strikeouts in 105 innings and is coming off a dominant start against Washington.
The Cubs will start Jameson Taillon, who is 7-4 with a 3.10 ERA. He has fanned 75 batters in 93 innings and has a 1.16 WHIP. Taillon has only walked 18 batters in 2024 which is why we like him in this spot.
Both offenses have had very different seasons in 2024. Milwaukee has the fourth-best team batting average at .255, while Chicago is hitting .233 as a team, which ranks 25th.
Christian Yelich is hitting .320 with 11 home runs and 42 RBIs. Milwaukee is also leaning on William Contreras, hitting .284 with 56 RBIs at the plate.
Cody Bellinger leads the Cubs in average at .269, along with nine home runs. Dansby Swanson has struggled in 2024, hitting .210 with 31 RBIs.
We expect Rea and Taillon to eliminate the offenses in this game and get the job done to cash our NRFI bet.
