The 2024 All-Star Game is finally here, and we have found two wagers with a ton of value in this game.

Runs have been hard to come by in the All-Star Game over the past few years. We have two prop bets that rely on pitchers to limit the runs and take the offenses out of this game.

We are taking the NRFI and the no-run 8th inning, available on FanDuel Sportsbook.

As a new member, you're in for a treat with our exclusive bonuses on FanDuel. Simply place a $5 bet, and you'll instantly receive $200 in bonus bets if it hits, a fantastic offer for baseball wagering.

Best NRFI Bets Today: National League vs. American League (8:00 PM, EST)

1st Inning Under 0.5 Runs (-140) at FanDuel

We are taking the NRFI in this year’s All-Star Game. This game features two of the best-starting pitchers, Paul Skenes and Corbin Burnes. The NRFI is at -140 on FanDuel sportsbook.

Skenes is 6-0 with a 1.90 ERA in 2024. He has 89 strikeouts in 66.1 innings. He is coming off a seven-inning performance against Milwaukee, allowing zero hits and one walk. This was the second time this season that Skenes was pulled from the game with a no-hitter.

Burnes will go for the American League and is 9-4 with a 2.43 ERA. He is a former Cy Young winner and is +250 to win this year's award on FanDuel sportsbook.

Both pitchers have the pitch arsenal to shut down the offenses in this game. Taking the under or NRFI in the All-Star Game with the great offensive players can be scary, but over the last few years, we have seen the pitchers dominate in this game.

With Skenes and Burnes leading the charge, we expect no runs to be scored in the first inning to cash our NRFI bet.

8th Inning Under 0.5 Runs (-148) at FanDuel

For our second prop, we are taking no runs to be scored in the 8th inning at -148 on FanDuel sportsbook. Several relievers in this game have had terrific seasons so far in 2024, and we expect to see them in the back half of this game.

Ryan Helsley is the first pitcher to focus on for the National League. Helsley has been the best closer in baseball for St. Louis and leads the league in saves with 32. He is 3-3 with a 2.36 ERA and has 48 strikeouts in 42 innings.

The next pitcher to focus on in the American League is Emmanuel Clase. He is second in saves right behind Helsley with 29 and is 4-1 with a 0.81 ERA. He has fanned 39 batters in 44.1 innings and has a 0.68 WHIP.

These pitchers are usually the 9th-inning guys for their respective teams, but we have seen closers come into the game before the ninth inning in All-Star games.

Other bullpen arms to watch for this bet include Kyle Finnegan and Matt Strahm. Finnegan has 25 saves on the year and has struck out 42 batters in 40.1 innings. He has a 2.45 ERA and has been Washington's go-to arm out of the bullpen.

Strahm has only allowed six earned runs in 36.1 innings for the Phillies and has 47 strikeouts. He has allowed one home run in 2024 and has only walked five batters, dominating the NL East.

We expect to see these four pitchers around the 8th inning and shut down the offenses to cash our no-run 8th-inning wager.
