Best NRFI Bets Today 2024 06 06

The NRFI is the most electric bet in all of sports and we have a couple games with a lot of first inning value on Thursday.

The first NRFI were focused on is Seattle vs. Oakland. Both starters in this matchup like to pitch to contact and limit walks.

The second NRFI features Sonny Gray and Cal Quantrill. Both pitchers have great strikeout ability, which is needed for a NRFI.

Best NRFI Bets Today: Mariners vs. Athletics (3:40 PM, EST)

1st Inning Under 0.5 Runs (-118) at FanDuel

Seattle takes on Oakland in a matchup featuring two starting pitchers who have done a great job in 2024. The Mariners are 35-27 leading the AL West by 5.5 games while the Athletics are 24-38 and in fourth place in the division.

Seattle is starting Bryan Woo who is 2-0 with a 1.30 ERA. He has struck out 18 batters in 27.2 innings with a WHIP of 0.58. In Woo’s last three starts, he has gone 18 innings only allowing three earned runs on ten hits.

Oakland is going with JP Sears who is 4-4 with a 4.01 ERA. He has 45 strikeouts in 67.1 innings. Sears is coming off a seven inning performance against Atlanta last week

Both these teams have struggled tremendously on offense. Oakland ranks 28th in the league in team batting average and Seattle is 29th.

Even though runs have been hard to come by for both these teams, Seattle has done a much better job on the mound which is why they’re leading the division.

Woo and Sears are two pitchers who like to pitch to contact. This is exactly what we want when betting on a NRFI.

We expect both these starters to get the job done, control the strike zone, and cash our NRFI.

Best NRFI Bets Today: Rockies vs. Cardinals  (7:45 PM, EST)

1st Inning Under 0.5 Runs (-138) at FanDuel

St. Louis hosts Colorado for the first game of their series on Thursday. The Rockies are 21-39 in last place in the NL West. The Cardinals are 28-31 and have been climbing the standings in the NL Central trailing Milwaukee by seven games.

The Rockies are going with Cal Quantrill who is 4-4 with a 3.84 ERA. He has 50 strikeouts in 68 innings and a WHIP of 1.29. He also leads the team in wins with four.

The Cardinals are starting ace Sonny Gray who is 7-3 with a 3.00 ERA. He has struck out 77 batters in 57 innings which ranks at the top of the league. Gray has been the missing piece the Cardinals have been looking for the last couple years.

Both of these pitchers have great strikeout ability and limit the walks which makes them perfect candidates for NRFI betting.

The two main sluggers for St. Louis, Nolan Arenado and Paul Goldschmidt, have not lived up to their expectations in 2024. Both hitters are batting below .250 and production from both guys has decreased from last year.

The Cardinals have relied on second-year player Masyn Winn who is batting .309. Winn is coming off an 18-game hit streak which was the second longest in franchise history.

The Rockies have gotten most of their production from Elias Diaz who is batting .298. This is 13th in the MLB.
