Best NRFI Bets Today: Mariners vs. Twins (1:10 PM, EST)

1st Inning Under 0.5 Runs (-156) at FanDuel

The total in the Mariners vs. Twins game is 6.5, which is a crazy line. We rarely see a total of 6.5 in Major League Baseball, thanks to the pitching matchup and wind blowing in at the stadium. 

However, the 6.5-run total is still shocking because two of the three games in this series have sailed over seven runs. We don’t care about the total runs in this game, though, because we’re taking the NRFI. 

The NRFI is the most exciting wager in Major League Baseball because it’s quick. In this contest, we hope to find a quick six-outs with Logan Gilbert and Pablo Lopez.

Gilbert is 3-0 with a 1.69 ERA and a 0.79 WHIP. He has pitched 48 innings and allowed just 25 hits in this span. He has also recorded 50 strikeouts, which is over one strikeout per inning. Gilbert can provide more free passes than he should, but he has been fantastic all season. 

Lopez will pitch for the Twins, and he hasn’t been as good as Gilbert. Yet, he is still good enough to deliver our NRFI. He is 3-2 with a 4.3 ERA and a 1.04 WHIP. 

He has struck out 45 batters in 37.2 innings while walking just eight batters. He doesn’t allow free passes, which is the best part of his arsenal on the bump. Neither offense has been excellent this season, so we’re leaning on the pitchers to handle their business.

Seattle's OBP is .302, compared to the Twins' .315. They’re also average power teams and don’t have many hot hitters at the top of the order. Even though the NRFI is -156, it’s worth placing in this game.

Best NRFI Bets Today: Guardians vs. White Sox (7:20 PM, EST)

1st Inning Under 0.5 Runs (-122) at FanDuel

The Cleveland Guardians and Chicago White Sox also have solid NRFI potential. The two pitchers have been fantastic all season, and the White Sox have one of the worst offenses in baseball. 

Erick Fedde will pitch for Chicago, and he is 2-0 with a 3.46 ERA and a 1.18 WHIP. The quickest way to lose an NRFI bet is with home runs, and Fedde gives up his fair share, which is an issue. 

He has given up seven homers in 39 innings but still has good strikeout ability, a 3.46 ERA, and a 1.18 WHIP. He is good enough to deliver, and we trust Guardians pitcher Ben Lively. 

Lively is 1-1 with a 2.08 ERA and a 1.02 WHIP. He has 21.2 innings under his belt and has allowed just 16 hits. 

Chicago’s offense is our favorite part of this NRFI bet. The White Sox are batting .211 with a .271 OBP. They have only hit 26 homers and are 9-28 on the season. Take the NRFI for a great price of -122.
