Best NRFI Bets Today: Cubs vs. Mets (7:10 PM, EST)

The Chicago Cubs and New York Mets will battle in game two of a four-game series on Tuesday night. The first game featured limited offense and great pitching, as New York won 3-1. 

Even though the YRFI hit in this game, four runs give us confidence that we will see a limited output again. The NRFI has a much better chance of hitting in a low-scoring game. We have a lot of confidence in both pitchers on the mound for various reasons. 

Javier Assad will pitch for the Cubs, and he is the best pitcher of the two in this contest. He is 2-0 with a 2.00 ERA and a 1.00 WHIP. He has struck out 26 batters in 27 innings and allowed just two homers over this span. 

Sean Manaea, who will pitch for New York, has also been excellent at limiting homers. He has surrendered one in 24.1 innings and wants to continue this streak on Tuesday. 

Manaea is 1-1 with a 3.33 ERA and a 1.44 WHIP. He has a walking issue, which is clear from his 14 free passes in 24.1 innings. Yet, he has fanned 27 batters this season, which helps him get out of jams.
