The Philadelphia Phillies continue to dominate the postseason by going 2-0 in the NLCS series over the Arizona Diamondbacks. The Phillies are coming off their most decisive win in this postseason after defeating the Diamondbacks 10-0 this past Tuesday.
One of the biggest reasons for Philadelphia's domination is the incredible pitching by Zack Wheeler and Aaron Nola. On Thursday, left-handed pitcher Randy Suarez has a chance to continue the Phillies' domination at the mound. With the series being moved to Arizona, the Phillies are going with Suarez to start.
Suarez has accounted for an ERA of 1.04 in 8.2 innings pitched in the two postseason wins over the Atlanta Braves. He allowed only one hit and one run (being a home run from Braves' third baseman Austin Riley) while delivering six strikeouts in the two games played for Philadelphia in the postseason.
This prop bet should be the easiest bet to make in Thursday’s postseason slate.
The Texas Rangers were looking like the clear winners of the ALCS series after winning the first two games over the Houston Astros. When the series was moved to Houston, the Astros made it a series again by winning game three at home over the Rangers 8-5.
The Rangers are looking to get back into the series versus the Astros. One player that helped create a rhythm in the game three loss to the Astros is third baseman Josh Jung. Jung accounted for two hits with both of them being home runs. He also accounted for one hit in the game one win over the Astros.
Jung has been one of the most efficient batters for the Rangers in his full season in the MLB, including when he came off a broken finger. Look for him to be one of the biggest difference makers for the Rangers in game four and retake the momentum as the series goes back to Arlington.
