St. Louis starter Miles Mikolas got shelled by the Red Sox in his last start, giving up nine runs on 11 hits over 2.2 innings. The Phillies are not the type of lineup a pitcher wants to face while trying to bounce back, especially with Harper in the middle of everything. Harper has great numbers against Mikolas in his career, going 8 for 23 (.348) with four extra-base hits. Granted, Harper and the entire Philly lineup have been kept under wraps, going just two runs total in the last two games. But facing Mikolas should help Harper and the Phillies get going. If they have a good day against Mikolas, Harper should have no problem collecting multiple bases.

Trea Turner Over 0.5 Runs (-105) at bet365 Sportsbook

Turner is another member of the Phillies who has good career stats against Mikolas. He’s 8 for 25 (.320) with three doubles against the St. Louis starter. Turner typically bats second in Philadelphia’s lineup, right before big bats like Harper and Nick Castellanos. If he’s on base, there’s a good chance someone will be able to drive him in. Of course, Turner has done a good job of getting on base lately, as he has at least one hit in eight of his nine games in April. Even with the Phillies getting shut out on Friday, Turner has scored at least one run in four of his last seven games, so we’re getting fair odds for this prop.

David Peterson Under 4.5 Hits Allowed (+132) at bet365 Sportsbook

Peterson’s biggest problem through two starts has been giving up walks. The lefty has issued eight free passes in just 10.2 innings. On the other hand, he’s been difficult to hit, yielding just three hits over 4.2 innings in his last outing against the Blue Jays. The A’s surely don’t have the star power in their lineup that Toronto does, so this should be an easier assignment for Peterson. The entire A’s roster is a combined 3 for 19 (.158) against him, with most members of the A’s never facing him before. That should give Peterson enough of an edge to give up four hits or less, regardless of how many walks he issues.

Rutschman hasn’t quite gotten going offensively this year, although he’s in the midst of a six-game hitting streak. Somehow, he’s only gone over 1.5 hits/runs/RBI twice during that stretch and just five times overall in 12 games this season. But his recent hitting streak and history against Toronto starter Jose Berrios make him a player to target on Saturday. Rutschman is 15 for 25 (.600) with six extra-base hits in his career against Berrios. That’s not exactly a small sample size. For whatever reason, Rutschman has owned Berrios, making it smart to bet on him collecting multiple bases.

Jonah Heim 2+ Hits/Runs/RBI (+175) at bet365 Sportsbook

Some members of the Rangers have struggled this season, but Heim ins’t one of them. He’s batting over .300 and has at least one hit in four of his last five games. While not typically a candidate to score a lot of runs, Heim has five RBI in his last five games. Despite batting toward the bottom of the order, Heim is taking advantage of opportunities to drive in runs. Just for good measure, the Texas catcher is 3 for 8 with a double and two RBI in his career against Seattle starter Bryan Woo. That’s not a long track record, but it’s enough to take a chance on such lucrative odds.
