With the NLCS taking a day off, the Yankees and Guardians will get the full spotlight on them Tuesday in Game 2 of the ALCS. Therefore, we had to come up with five prop bets for this game. Luckily, we had success on Monday and hope to continue that on Tuesday. Most of our focus for Tuesday is on star players who figure to play a prominent role in the game one way or another.
The odds for these bets are from bet365 Sportsbook, where new users can choose between a safety net of up to $1,000 on their first bet or receiving $200 in bonus bets for making an initial bet of just $5. Also, every bet365 can get a 50% profit boost on a same-game parlay for Game 2 of the ALCS.

Ramirez stayed quiet in Game 1 of the ALCS, which helped the Yankees secure the win. But he’s bound to make an impact sooner or later, especially if the Guardians are going to have a chance in this series. Keep in mind that Ramirez had 39 home runs and 39 doubles during the regular season. He’s also 12 for 34 (.353) with six extra-base hits in his career against Gerrit Cole. Ramirez is the only one in Cleveland’s lineup with impressive numbers against Cole, so he has a chance to do some damage.

Gimenez is familiar with Cole, although he’s just 5 for 22 (.227) against him in his career. He’s also just 4 for 21 (.190) with nine strikeouts over Cleveland’s first six playoff games. Despite hits in back-to-back games, it’s hard to be too confident in Gimenez right now. He’s no longer hitting at the top of the order, so he doesn’t have much protection and isn’t getting to the plate as often. Those factors combined with his past struggles against Cole make him a good candidate to go hitless in Game 2.

Cole has gotten the job done in terms of getting outs without giving up a lot of runs in the postseason. But he hasn’t looked overly dominant, totaling just eight strikeouts while yielding 13 hits over 12 innings. In fact, if you include the end of the regular season, he’s managed more than five strikeouts just once in his last five starts. While he’s had a lot of success against Cleveland’s hitters in the past, the Guardians had the fourth-fewest strikeouts in the majors during the regular season. That makes it unlikely that Cole will go from four strikeouts over seven innings in his last start against the Royals to six strikeouts in Game 2.

Soto was the offensive hero in Game 1, so there is every reason to think he can keep it going. During the postseason, he’s hitting .353 with a home run and a double. The caveat is that nobody on the Yankees has ever faced Cleveland starter Tanner Bibee more than three times in their career. That makes it hard to project New York’s standout offensive players in Game 2. Nevertheless, Soto is as good a bet as anyone else.

The fact that most Yankees have only faced Bibee a few times could benefit Cleveland’s starter. However, to think that he’ll be able to hold the Yankees to three hits or less is unlikely. Bibee allowed four hits in both of his starts against the Tigers in the ALDS and has allowed at least four hits in six straight starts. If he pitches well and isn’t giving up a lot of hits, the Guardians will likely keep him in the game until things start to go south. One way or another, Bibee is likely to concede at least four hits in Game 2.
