Wednesday was a good day for the three teams that advanced from the Wild Card Round and a good day for us, as we won three of our five bets, all of which had plus odds. The challenge on Thursday is that there is just one game on the schedule, so all of our prop bets are coming from the Mets and Brewers in an elimination game for both.
The odds are from bet365 Sportsbook, which gives new customers a choice between $200 in bonus bets for making a $5 bet and a safety net of $1,000 on their first wager.

Myers started against the Mets last Saturday and dominated for four innings, allowing just one hit while striking out five. He should enter Thursday’s elimination game with plenty of confidence that he can do the same. Even though the Mets just saw him, they clearly didn’t figure him out. That should allow Myers to register some strikeouts early in this game. Granted, the leash will be short with Milwaukee eager to go to its bullpen. But even in four innings, Myers has a good chance to collect at least five strikeouts.

The Mets are counting on Alonso to deliver in big spots, although he’ll do his best to stay patient. He’s already taken three walks over the first two games of this series. The Brewers are going to be careful with him because they know that Alonso can hurt them with his power. While he’s been relatively quiet in five games against Milwaukee over the past week, Alonso is due to deliver something spectacular. However, the Brewers could try to pitch around him, enabling Alonso to draw another walk on Thursday.

The Brewers have managed to keep Lindor relatively quiet over the first two games of this series. But while he’s 0 for 6, he has drawn three walks and driven in a run. He now has six RBI over his last four games, so we’re banking on the MVP candidate to come through for the Mets again in an elimination game. Keep in mind that the Mets have hitters at the bottom of the lineup who can get on base, so Lindor driving them in with a hit or a sac fly isn’t out of the question. Lindor could also hit another clutch home run, something he’s done time and time again for the Mets during the stretch run. Given how important he’s been for the Mets lately, it’s hard to imagine Lindor not making an impact on this game.

A few months ago, the Mets wouldn’t be that confident in Quintana starting an elimination game. But he’s been outstanding lately. The lefty posted a 0.72 ERA across his four starts in September, pitching at least six scoreless innings in three of those starts. Granted, the Brewers got two runs over 4.1 innings against him last Saturday. But there is still every reason to believe that Quintana can throw a gem for the Mets. Plus, if he’s not at his best, the leash will be short and the Mets will go to their bullpen, making it even more likely that Quintana will give up two runs or less.

Chourio is clearly the most dangerous hitter in Milwaukee’s lineup right now. He won the game with two solo home runs on Wednesday and is now 8 for 21 with three extra-base hits over his last five games, all of which have come against the Mets. Chourio is also 3 for 5 with a double in his limited at-bats against Quintana. It feels like a safe bet that he’ll stay hot in Game 3 and be able to collect multiple bases one way or another.
