Sonny Gray Under 1.5 ER (+120) at BetMGM

The Nationals are a light-hitting team, which is going to play right into Gray’s hands. While Gray got knocked around a little in his last start, taking the loss against the Reds, he’s gone at least seven innings while giving up just one run in two of his last four starts. He’s more than capable of doing that against the Nationals, who won on Thursday with a single run and have now been held to one run or less in three of their last seven games. That’s exactly the type of team that Gray is poised to dominate.

Best MLB Prop Bets Today: Red Sox vs. Yankees (7:05 PM, EST)

Aaron Judge Over 1.5 Total Bases (-110) at BetMGM

Judge has gone hitless in back-to-back games, but we know that such a hitless streak isn’t going to last long. That’s why we have to take advantage of the MVP frontrunner getting even odds to collect at least two bases. Before these last two games, Judge had six multi-hit games in a span of seven games. He also had five extra-base hits during that stretch, so when he snaps out of his mini-funk, he should do so with a little power. Judge is 3 for 9 in his career against Boston’s Tanner Houck and should deliver with the Red Sox in town, which is why we’re putting our faith in Judge.

D.J. LeMaheiu Under 0.5 Hits (+150) at BetMGM

Unlike Judge, LeMahieu has dreadful career numbers against Houck. In fact, LeMahieu has gone 0 for 11 in his career against Houck, who also owns a 2.67 ERA on the season despite getting roughed up by the Padres in his last outing. Even when LeMahieu was a good hitter, this would be a tough matchup for him. But now he’s a .183 hitter, and since we’re getting plus odds for him to go hitless against a pitcher who has owned him throughout his career, this prop bet is a no-brainer despite having no margin for error.

Best MLB Prop Bets Today: Blue Jays vs. Mariners (9:40 PM, EST)

Kevin Gausman Over 2.5 ER (+100) at BetMGM

We haven’t been afraid to fade Gausman at times this season, and we’re going to do it again on Friday. He’s allowed at least three runs in four consecutive starts, not to mention five of his six starts in June. Last time out, the Yankees hit him around for seven runs in 4.1 innings. Admittedly, he has good numbers against most of Seattle’s hitters. But Gausman is still in a funk and has to go up against a first-place team. With plus odds for Gausman giving up at least three runs, we have to take a chance.

Alejandro Kirk Over 0.5 Hits (-165) at BetMGM

If you haven’t heard much from Kirk this season it’s because he’s batting just .199. He’s one of many players contributing to Toronto’s disappointing season. On the other hand, he’s 4 for 8 in his career against Seattle’s Luis Castillo, so he gets a favorable matchup on Friday. Also, Kirk has at least one hit in four of his six games and has hit three doubles during that stretch. Considering his poor year, Kirk is actually trending in the right direction and facing a pitcher he can hit, which is why there is good value with this prop.
