The Los Angeles Dodgers and New York Yankees headline the Saturday slate. There are stars all over the board looking to make a statement, and we can capitalize on this for our betting.
No player has stepped up more than Aaron Judge this season for our betting, and we’re leaning on him again. Judge did everything he could in game one of the Los Angeles series, but didn’t receive enough help from his teammates.

Aaron Judge started the season very poorly. He was one of the worst hitters in baseball for a period, outside of his ability to hit the long ball. However, a switch flipped in May, and he became an elite batter.
We always knew Judge could dominate, and it was a matter of time before the MVP woke up offensively. Since this happened, he has been cashing total bases tickets nearly daily.
Judge is batting .294 with 21 home runs and 55 RBI. He leads baseball in homers and also OPS with a 1.091. Judge has been able to get to righties and lefties, but he thrives against the right-handers.
He will see a RHP in Gavin Stone on Saturday. Stone is 6-2 with a 2.90 ERA and a 1.19 WHIP, but his one flaw is that he isn’t a dominant strikeout pitcher. Wings who rely on contact don’t do well against Judge because he has no fear of striking out.
Judge has exceeded 1.5 total bases in seven of his past eight games. He is coming off a 2-3 night where he grabbed three total bases with an RBI and two walks. Judge can surpass 1.5 bases with a single swing of the bat.
Look for him to continue his dominance at the dish and cash our first player prop on Saturday.

The Astros are still struggling in the American League West but have won four of their past six games. Even though Houston had a difficult start to the season, they still have elite talent all over the field.
We’re leaning on the Astros to show up at the plate on Saturday. They will face Tyler Anderson, who isn’t an elite strikeout pitcher. He pitches to contact, which was a recipe for success in his last start against Houston.
He went eight innings, allowing just six hits and one earned run. However, he only recorded four strikeouts in eight innings, so Houston wasn’t on top of their game.
Anderson’s strikeout total is 3.5, and we’re leaning under on Saturday. While Anderson has hit this number consistently this season, Houston is the best strikeout team in baseball. It’s very hard to fan this team four times in a game, and they’re coming off a seven-run performance.
They faced Griffin Canning, who had strikeout numbers similar to Anderson's, and he didn’t come close to being over the line. Canning went 6.1 innings and allowed three earned runs on seven hits. He only fanned two batters and walked a pair as well.
If they can post similar offensive numbers, Anderson won’t be in long enough to record four strikeouts.
