It’s Friday, and we feel like ending the week with a bang. We figured the best way to do that is by picking all hitters for our prop bets. That’s not to say that there aren’t some good pitchers on the mound on Friday. We just really liked some of the matchups we were getting with some of the hottest hitters in baseball right now, so we decided to trust our instincts and bet on a bunch of hitters. Today’s odds are from Caesars Sportsbook, which is giving new users a no-sweat bet of up to $1,500 when they sign up.

Rather quietly, Steer is putting together a solid season, collecting 40 RBI in 62 games. He’s also 6 for 18 with 5 RBI over his last four games, so he’s in a good place right now. Even better, Steer is 5 for 9 with three extra-base hits in his career against Chicago starter Justin Steele, so he’s set up for a big game on Friday. We decided to target Steer for an RBI prop because Steele has had an up-and-down season thus far. Also, one-man rally starter Elly De La Cruz usually hits two spots ahead of Steer in the lineup, which will give him RBI opportunities.
Bet on Cubs vs. Reds Props at Caesars
We don’t do a lot of home run props, but the timing seems right to target Alvarez for one. He only has 12 on the year, which is probably a little less than what most people would have expected coming into the season. However, he’s hit three homers in his last five games. Alvarez is also 4 for 9 with two home runs in his career against Griffin Canning, who starts for the Angels on Friday. Canning has allowed five home runs in his last four starts, so he’s been vulnerable to the long ball. With a history of homering against Canning, why not take a chance on Alvarez?
Ward is doing his best to make the Angels halfway decent offensively amidst all of their injuries. Admittedly, he’s not been at his best lately, going hitless in five of his last six games. But Ward has mashed against lefties all year and his 14 for 28 in his career against Framber Valdez. That’s a big enough sample size against a quality pitcher for us to take a chance on Ward breaking out of his slump and collecting multiple bases on Friday.
Bet on Astros vs. Angels Props at Caesars
We haven’t targeted him for a while, but Marte remains one of our favorites to target with this prop bet. He’s started to catch fire lately with three multi-hit games in his last five games. During that span, Marte is 9 for 17 with three extra-base hits. His bat is heating up to the point that a multi-hit game is possible while Marte could also snag an extra-base hit. That’s why we like the value we’re getting from such a talented hitter.
For what it’s worth, Arraez has just one multi-hit game over his last five games and just two in his last nine games. But that’s part of the reason why we’re getting such lucrative odds with this bet. Keep in mind that Arraez currently leads the majors in batting at .335, 12 points ahead of his nearest competitor, who happens to be his teammate Jurickson Profar. The point is that having multiple-hit games is what Arraez does best. He also owns Arizona starter Brandon Pfaadt, going 5 for 7 against him in his career. This is surely a game in which Arraez will be able to collect multiple hits and raise his batting average even higher.
