Yet again, Thursday provided some challenges because of a limited schedule and several day games. But we decided to go back to a few familiar favorites while also trying out a couple of players we don’t usually target. For the most part, we took the safe approach, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing on a Thursday. Today's odds are from BetMGM Sportsbook, which will give new users up to $1,500 in bonus bets.

Ozzie Albies Over 1.5 Total Bases (-125) at BetMGM Sportsbook

As usual, we have our eye on Albies with the Braves facing a left-handed starter. Granted, Albies has just three career at-bats against Washington’s Mitchell Parker, but his splits against lefties remain amazing. Albies has had three multi-hit games in his last seven games while also hitting four extra-base hits during that stretch. He’s not lighting up the world during the first week of June, but he’s in a good place and always hits lefties, so we’re going to ride this train.

Best MLB Prop Bets Today: Twins vs. Yankees (7:05 PM, EST)

Aaron Judge Over 1.5 Total Bases (-110) at BetMGM Sportsbook

With even odds, we’re obviously going to get behind Judge if all he needs to do is collect multiple bases. The guy has gone over 1.5 total bases in five straight games because of four multi-hit games and five extra-base hits during that stretch. The guy is red-hot right now, so this feels like easy money. Judge is also 3 for 5 in his career against Minnesota’s Pablo Lopez with all three hits going for extra bases. Talk about a no-brainer.

Juan Soto Over 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBI (-140) at BetMGM Sportsbook

Targeting Soto on Thursday is also an obvious choice. The odds aren’t that lucrative in this bet, but it’s so easy to hit. Soto has at least one hit in eight of his last nine games with nine runs scored and 10 RBI during that span. Soto has hit this bet in seven of those nine games. He also has an excellent track record against Lopez, going 10 for 30 with six extra-base hits and six RBI. The Yankees are just crushing everybody right now, so it’d be irresponsible not to target their two best hitters.

Best MLB Prop Bets Today: Red Sox vs. White Sox (8:10 PM, EST)

Tanner Houck Under 1.5 ER (+115) at BetMGM Sportsbook

If memory serves, this is our first time targeting Houck this season. Despite his 5-5 record, he ranks third in the majors with a 1.85 ERA. Houck has been at his best lately, allowing just two runs on 12 hits over his last 20 innings across three starts. He should have no problem keeping that going against the lowly White Sox. This is a team that’s completely void of confidence with 13 straight losses. If Houck can get off to a good start, he should cruise to a quality start, which is why we’ll take plus odds on him limiting the White Sox to one run or less.

Best MLB Prop Bets Today: Diamondbacks vs. Padres (9:40 PM, EST)

Slade Cecconi Under 15.5 Outs Recorded (-120) at BetMGM Sportsbook

Cecconi has had his moments this year, but he also has a 5.59 ERA. He’s also had trouble going deep in games, so taking under 15.5 outs recorded makes sense if we’re going to fade him. While Cecconi has recorded an out in the sixth inning of four of his seven starts, he hasn’t done that in back-to-back starts. Also, he got knocked out in the fifth inning the last time he faced the Padres. This San Diego lineup should give him a hard time again, so the D’Backs will be lucky to get five innings out of Cecconi and won’t try to push him further.
