The Los Angeles Dodgers and Colorado Rockies will battle in a divisional matchup on Saturday night. The Dodgers have proven all season they’re one of the best teams in baseball, and shouldn’t have many issues facing Colorado.
They will have one of their best pitchers on the mound in Yoshinobu Yamamoto. Yamamoto’s strikeout prop has a lot of value, considering it’s plus money. This is our favorite prop on Saturday, but we have plenty of bets on the board from FanDuel Sportsbook.
Many bonuses are available on FanDuel through our exclusive link for new customers. If you bet $5 on FanDuel, you can receive $150 in bonus bets instantly, and this is perfect for baseball season.

Many people expected Yoshinobu Yamamoto to be in the Cy Young race at the beginning of the season. While his first season in Major League Baseball hasn’t been smooth, he has really found a groove over the past month.
Yamamoto is striking out batters consistently, and keeping them off the bases. It’s important to bet on pitchers with good WHIP stats because when they have clean traffic on the bases, it allows them to hunt more for strikeouts.
Yamamoto is 31st in MLB in WHIP at 1.10. He is 5-2 with a 3.51 ERA, and he has struck out 69 batters in 59 innings. Yamamoto’s strikeout prop is listed at 7.5 on FanDuel Sportsbook with the over being +108.
While it’s a stretch for any pitcher to have an eight-strikeout performance, Yamamoto is more than capable of reaching this number. He has surpassed this line in his past two games, and should have plenty of chances for swings and misses against the Rockies.
Colorado has struck out 530 times this season, which is the fifth most in baseball. Additionally, this game is in Los Angeles which swings the advantage to Yamamoto. He doesn’t have to worry about altitude in Denver.
The Red are one of the most dreadful teams in the NL Central. Cincinnati has been an easy win for most teams on their schedule, and there isn’t a lot of talent throughout their lineup.
The team’s best player, Elly De La Cruz, is batting .244 with nine homers and 24 RBI. He leads the team in batting average, which shows they haven’t gotten a ton of offensive production.
What makes De La Cruz so scary is his ability to steal bases. He has been a monster on the bases, and is always a danger to steal a bag. He has 40 stolen bases, and we’re not even to the halfway point in the season.
He stole one yesterday against the Cubs in his lone time on base. The Reds coaching staff needs to put De La Cruz in motion because they don’t generate a lot of offense. This makes the bet worthwhile placing because if he gets on base, chances are he is stealing.
Reid Detmers hasn’t been great this season. After a strong start to the season, he has really fallen off the hump.
Detmers is 3-5 with a 5.76 ERA and a 1.43 WHIP. However, he has been an elite strikeout pitcher all season. He has fanned 67 batters in 59.1 innings, and he will face the worst strikeout team in baseball on Saturday.
The Mariners have some dangerous hitters throughout their lineup, but they’re first in most strikeouts. This is an embarrassing stat to hold, but it’s perfect for bettors. Whenever we get a good strikeout pitcher against a bad strikeout team, it’s worth taking the over for the prop.
Detmers has gone over this total in three of his past five games.
