Admittedly, we’ve not had the best week with our MLB prop bets. But we’re feeling confident that Friday will be a good day for us. We've decided to focus on both Dodgers and former Dodgers on Friday. That team has so much talent that we should be able to get back on track. The odds for Friday’s prop bets are from DraftKings, which is offering $200 in bonus bets to new users just for signing up and making a $5 bet.

When you’re in a slump, one of the best things you can do is fade Patrick Corbin. The lefty is having another bad year, going 0-3 with a 6.82 ERA over his first six starts of the season. Outside of one magical Tuesday in which he threw 5.1 scoreless innings against the Dodgers, Corbin has allowed at least four earned runs in each of his starts. Even the lowly Marlins got the better of him in his last start. While Toronto’s lineup has been a disappointment thus far, most of the Blue Jays on the roster have hit Corbin in the past. Facing him seems to be a solution for every lineup, so we’ll give the Blue Jays the benefit of the doubt on Friday.
Turner is one Toronto hitter with a long track record of success against Corbin. He’s 16 for 42 (.381) with four doubles and two home runs in his career against Corbin. While most of those at-bats came many years ago, Turner’s production this year also backs up this bet. The 39-year-old is batting .298 with 12 extra-base hits. On Monday, he hit two home runs, so Turner’s confidence should be high. Obviously, he’ll love getting to face Corbin, so we’ll get behind him to have either a multi-hit game or snag another extra-base hit.

Cease has been absolutely crushing it this season. His last start against the Phillies was the first time this year in six starts that he allowed more than 4.5 hits. In fact, he’s held opposing lineups to two hits or less in four of his six starts. Given that track record, how can we not take the plus odds on him holding the D’Backs to four hits or less? The entire Arizona roster has just 33 career at-bats against Cease, so the Diamondbacks haven’t seen a lot of him. That should play to his advantage, allowing Cease to stay dominant and limit the hits he allows.

Betts is doing everything well this year, including taking his walks. Even with Shohei Ohtani and Freddie Freeman behind him, Betts is taking walks, amassing 26 of them in 33 games. Against Atlanta starter Charlie Morton, Betts is 13 for 39 with seven walks, so Morton has struggled to retire Betts and has been willing to walk him in the past. Betts has been so locked in lately that he's not going to leave the strike zone, increasing the chances that he’ll draw a walk.
On Wednesday, Freeman had a 10-game hitting streak snapped. However, he’s clearly found his groove over the past couple of weeks. Freeman also has an excellent track record against Morton, his former teammate with the Braves. He’s 10 for 20 with three doubles and three homers in his career against Morton. Given those numbers and his recent hitting streak, not to mention his long-time propensity for collecting extra-base hits, Freeman has plenty of value to collect multiple bases on Friday.
