MLB prop betting is excellent because we can take advantage of matchups with Cy Young and MVP award favorites for reasonable prices. This has been our strategy since the beginning of the season and has been lucrative.

Corbin Burnes’ strikeout total is listed at 5.5, but the over is -162. Burnes is one of the Cy Young favorites, but I’m not willing to lay -162 with any pitcher on a strikeout prop. Burnes has been a very lucrative pitcher, so the alternate lines are worth looking at on Saturday.
Burnes’ alternate strikeout total of 7+ is +134 on Saturday against the Royals, and this is a very accessible price. The +134 price is solid for a reasonable outcome.
The former Cy Young winner and current frontrunner in the American League is 2-0 with a 2.28 ERA and a 0.93 WHIP. He is tied for 28th in baseball with 25 strikeouts and has a few big outings.
He reached 11 strikeouts in the season opener against the Angels. He also had six against Boston on April 9. It’s worth taking a strikeout chance with Burnes any chance we get for plus money because he is so dynamic on the mound.
Harrison Bader has quietly been one of the best players on the Mets all season. New York doesn’t have much star power, but they have posted an excellent 11-8 record through 19 games.
The Dodgers were expected to be the most dominant team in baseball, but they’re just 12-10 through 22 games. A 20-game sample size isn’t a lot, but Bader has delivered in his time on the hill.
The batter has a .333/.367/.421 slash line, and is the Mets leader in batting average. He should have plenty of chances to get hits on Saturday against Gavin Stone.
Stone is 1-1 with a 6.1 4 ERA and a 1.57 WHIP. He has allowed 18 hits in 14.2 innings of work. Bookmakers still aren’t pricing Bader appropriately, as he is coming off a four-hit game and has recorded a hit in four of his past five contests.
Charlie Morton is still a dominant pitcher when he finds his groove on the mound. He is 1-0 with a 5.29 ERA and a 1.35 WHIP with 18 strikeouts.
He is coming off an eight-strikeout game and has exceeded 5.5 in two of his past three contests. The under on his 5.5 strikeout total is listed at +108 on FanDuel Sportsbook, and the value is high against the Rangers.
Texas has been very pesky at the plate. The team puts the ball in play, and it doesn’t strike out a lot. It’s 23rd in baseball in the fewest strikeouts per game, and we should get another solid offensive game from them because Morton does allow runs.
