The Yankees started their Tuesday game off with four home runs in the first five batters. I’m targeting a total with New York, as I expect them to keep hitting.

The Dodgers are always a great parlay piece with their juiced odds. The Marlins are trying to stay alive in the NL East while Los Angeles is at the top of the NL West.
Tony Gonsolin will make his first appearance since 2023 when he went 8-5 with 82 strikeouts in 103 innings. He might have a shorter leash with this being his first start in two years, but he should get plenty of run support.
Cal Quantrill gets the start for Miami, and he is 2-2 with a 7.83 ERA in 2025. This is one of the worst ERAs in baseball, and I expect the Dodgers to take full advantage.
The Dodgers' bats are starting to come alive, but they are still hitting only .243 as a team, which ranks 16th. Look for their offense to explode against Quantrill on Tuesday.

The Yankees and Orioles will bring struggling pitchers to the mound on Wednesday.
Carlos Carrasco gets the ball for New York against Cade Povich of the Orioles. Both pitchers have an ERA north of 5.00 and have been inconsistent this season.
Runs have come in the early innings of this series thus far. I anticipate a similar result on Wednesday, based on recent trends.
Both pitchers are coming off great performances in their last start and are due for regression. The Yankees lead the MLB in team batting average at .263, and they will knock Povich out of the game early.
Take the over 9.5 runs in this game and look for the pitchers to struggle against two great offenses.

The Athletics take on the Rangers, and we are taking Texas on the moneyline. Both teams are right around .500, in the middle of the AL West.
Luis Severino gets the ball for Sacramento, and he is 1-3 with a 3.49 ERA this season. In his last start, he went six innings, allowing three earned runs against the White Sox.
Texas will go with Nathan Eovaldi, who is 2-2 with an ERA of 2.21. In his last two starts, he has combined for 12 innings, allowing two runs on nine hits.
Eovaldi has the clear advantage in this contest against Severino despite the A’s hitting the ball well at the plate. They are hitting .252 as a team, which is the eighth-best in baseball, but they will be challenged against the Rangers' ace.
