The two-win White Sox defeated the Boston Red Sox on Friday in embarrassing fashion. Boston needs to respond, and I’m backing them on Saturday.

The Boston Red Sox suffered a horrendous loss to the White Sox on Friday. Sean Newcomb was bombed, the team’s defense was terrible, and nobody converted with runners in scoring position.
Boston's defense was the worst part of the loss. The team leads baseball in errors by a significant margin, and they’re missing easy plays.
Even Gold Glove third baseman Alex Bregman has committed three errors this season. Boston’s defense may not improve overnight, but they need a win to get back to .500 on Saturday.
White Sox starter Martin Perez will make things difficult. He is 1-0 with a 0.73 ERA and a 0.73 WHIP. However, we trust Alex Cora to fix Boston’s issues enough to win this much-needed game for Boston.
The Red Sox must find their bats, and if they do that, they’ll cruise to win on Saturday.

The Arizona Diamondbacks are -180 to win on Saturday because they have Corbin Burnes on the mound, pitching against his former team. Burnes was one of the most dominant pitchers in baseball with Milwaukee before heading to Baltimore and now Arizona.
He hasn’t been great this season, with a 5.79 ERA and a 1.93 WHIP. However, he still has velocity on his fastball and good movement on his breaking balls.
Burnes has missed his spots too many times this season against good hitters. Chad Patrick will pitch for the Brewers, and while his walks haven’t hurt him this season, they’re bound to be trouble against Arizona.
Patrick has a walk issue, which could be the team’s downfall on Saturday.

The San Francisco Giants spanked the Yankees on Friday, winning 9-1 in six innings. Rain ended the game early, and nobody was opposed as this was a blowout.
San Francisco can win their second game over New York on Saturday. Will Warren will start for the Yankees; he has been bad this season.
The pitcher has a 6.0 ERA and a 1.33 WHIP. Over nine innings, he has allowed six runs and gotten beaten up with runners in scoring position.
It seems like Warren has been in a position to succeed but struggles to find the big pitch. On the otherside, Jordan Hicks will pitch for San Francisco.
Hicks has a 2.38 ERA and a 0.88 WHIP with 11 strikeouts in 11.1 innings. He has controlled his opponents, which will likely be the case on Saturday.
