Paul Skenes is the most dominant pitcher in baseball, and I’m backing his strikeout prop in my Tuesday parlay. The Red Sox and Dodgers also have favorable matchups after losing on Monday.

The Boston Red Sox had an abysmal showing on Monday. However, this was expected after their offensive explosion on Sunday.
Toronto has talent, but Boston is the better team. The Red Sox will throw their ace, Garrett Crochet, and this will be his first start at Fenway Park.
Boston has won both games with Crochet on the mound this season. He is 1-0 with a 1.38 ERA and a 0.92 WHIP with 12 strikeouts in 13 innings.
The Red Sox’s most significant issue on Monday was walking batters after getting them down in counts. This led to runs when Boston should have been out of innings.
Crochet will prevent this from happening because he commands the zone. Easton Lucas will throw for the Blue Jays, and he had a good showing in his first start against the Nationals.
However, Boston is a different beast, and if he doesn’t generate strikeouts, the Red Sox should cruise to a win.

The Los Angeles Dodgers suffered an unprecedented loss on Monday. When they have a pitching edge, they usually don’t lose, but they were outplayed on both sides of the ball.
Because of their elite talent, the Dodgers are excellent at bouncing back after losses. We believe they will respond with a vengeance on Tuesday.
Brad Lord will pitch for the Nationals, and he was awful in his first two innings of work this season. He gave up three hits in two innings with two walks against the Blue Jays and Phillies.
Lord will start, but this will be a bullpen game, and the Dodgers’ bats should succeed, leading to a victory.

Paul Skenes will likely win the Cy Young in the National League, and for good reason. He has been fantastic this season in two starts and showed greatness in his rookie year.
Skenes is 1-0 with a 1.46 ERA and a 0.65 WHIP. He has 13 strikeouts in 12.1 innings of work and is 1-1 to this number on the season.
The Cardinals aren’t seeing the ball very well, currently. Carmen Mlodzinsk, who started for the Pirates on Tuesday, had six strikeouts against them in five innings.
St. Louis is a middle-of-the-road strikeout team, but Skenes can make any team look silly.
